I had four wallets and did the standard Electron procedure after moving my BTC to fresh electrum wallets.
Two wallets came up with accurate BCC balance. The other two - which were both over 1 year old, with longer transaction histories, came up with way less BCC than should be there. Many tx's missing - both red and black.
I have switched between ABC servers manually, but nothing helps.
Anyone had this happen?
The two "new" BTC versions of these wallets do not have the tx history. Can I just create "version 3" of these wallets, and then import seeds from current version into Electron? Or should I move the BTC back into the original wallet and try again?
You can use this very handy website:
https://blockchair.com/Are the missing tx's on both blockchains?
If you were controlling the private keys during the split, you should be able to access them on the BCash chain.
I can't help you specifically with Electrum because I only use full nodes, but at least with full nodes, the idea is to send the coins to another address, then import this empty wallet into the BCash client, then you should see the entire transaction history and the same amount of BTC you had but in BCH. It should be the same procedure with Electrum (I think, im not sure)
