For me I can say that holding my temper is my talent , because I can control my temper as long as I can but if it is over I'm gonna explode like an aggressive volcano

Its one of the most imporatant art of all. to hold your temper. when you socialize ,its important to hold on to your immotion. it takes time to make it . but breath fast , focus on other than what makes you angry helps

Its about you knowing yourself. if you are made fun of .laugh with them . try to take insults lightly. a very effetive way.

Holding your temper in jobs , social gatherings in very important . it enables you to be more effective.a great way to hold your temper in counting to ten .backwards. and on the spot  who ever makes you angry . imagine them in their birthday suit . trust me . you cant stay angry after that.

Its a very important trait for employees . boss just ranting about on your head and you cant calm down. just divert from it for a while in your mind . imagine peacefull thoughts.

"know thyself" know what makes you angry and turn it into some thing funny . imagine a person trying to make yo lose it .now in your mind imagine him with a funny feature. like some extra heads od a fluffy tail.trust me it works .

Yeah holding the temper is a difficult thing to do and it is not wise to be in front of other people because your entire image might be destroyed by you instantly

Yeah it is better to be proactive than active so better to stop temper in the first place

lol i know the feeling. Controlling anger is one of the most difficults tasks in the world. Especially when trying to hold yourself , meanwhile the one who made you angry will still not stop. First , if he is a man like me, i punch him in the face to release or make me comfortable. However if its a female especially my wife, i will try to get out of the scene otherwise what would happen next might be not pleasant so i will get out of the scene

Easiest way to maintain a calm composure, and not having a flaring temper: wait...

It's not always possible (depending on the situation), but if you see something that upset/angers you, wait 5-10 minutes and approach the situation again. You'd be surprised the difference when you give yourself a moment to breath, relax and think about the situation calmly.

A lot of people these days have anger issues. Sadly enough, they don't even see this as a problem. But we all should be able to control our emotions. Anger is also one of those emotions. And this control doesn't come easy. It takes some discipline. When you are angered by a situation or person, you need to ensure you are still in charge. Remove yourself from that circumstance that angered you. I know it comes more easily to some than others. But self-control is always worth the effort.

they say inhale and exhale for a few seconds to calm yourself and you thoughts so as to assume in case you free your temper you can say something that could hurt the emotions of humans that brought about why you loose your temper.

Hi! I am a newbie here. I quite struggle about holding my temper and i easily flare up whenever i lost my temper on someone or a certain situation. How do you guys manage yours and stay normal in the midst of pressure? I know it is not ok to just be carried away by our emotions easily specially when the result could be disastrous but what to do?

I relate to you. Im also a short temper but what im doing is I always think to calm down and dont be carried away by the situation because they maybe something uneccesarry will happen if we will carried away by the situation
