  It was more like two weeks ago (I bought some), and I hadn't made the BTC mining with my other cards to buy this one then . Now they're $300.

ah, but they will keep doing these rotating specials on the 7850/7870/7950/7970s

yesterday was some XFX 7950 for $258

today is the XFX 7950 w/ 2 fans for $270
