Kraken deposit process...so disapointed

Just want to share my first experience with buying crypto
After opening an account on kraken, i follow the verification process.
Took some days to validate, and be able to make some deposit by bank transfer after that.
I have done the transfer to the japanese bank account indicate, but it seems they didn't receive the full "reference name of transaction"
It's been 2 weeks now the transfer is done, money out from my account (4,5k) and support team told me they have to verify with one the developpers agreed to validate the transaction.
Asking me copy of bank statement, etc...
Every day i ask some news, and they reply i have to be patient. But it's coming long now.
Of course, in meantime to be credited i missed some good opportunity to buy crypto and ico's...and nothing in my wallet for the moment...
Have you got same experience with them and what to do?
Is there any better way to do?

There is no better alternative except trading with people through P2P exchanges such as Paxful or Localbitcoins. A lot of services such as Kraken and Coinbase face these issues from time to time (mostly with Wire and SEPA transfers) and the problem could be small but because of the lack of communication between the client and the team, It takes longer. Based on your post I assume that you reside in Japan.
Have you tried using one of the local Japanese Bitcoin exchanges to buy BTC?

Bitflyer and the other exchanges from your country have enough volume that
you should be able to buy casual amounts without any problems.
If you send 4.5k you will have no problem getting your order filled at Bitflyer.

I really want to try another service for my next deposit

Sorry to hear that. I haven't heard the best things about Kraken regarding user experience, to be honest. But I've heard that these issues are usually resolved in time, at least.

Bitstamp is probably your best option. If you are in the US, UK or Europe, you might be able to use Coinbase. Good luck!

Kraken is very slow especially during dump/pump time. If you are not planing to buy/trade altcoins but just Bitcoin, Ether I do recommend to give a try to gdax.com it's also has 0% taker fees what is really cool.

The time to worry is if you see “Account disabled” when you try to log on. Kraken take several weeks to unlock the account and then all the coins are gone!

I withdrew all my ETH and closed my Kraken account this morning, the best thing I ever did!

This exchange is doing down... with all your coins!
