Rate of adoption is hampered by bad press: News events that scare Bitcoin users include geopolitical events and statements by governments that Bitcoin is likely to be regulated. Bitcoin's early adopters included several mal actors, producing headline news stories that produced fear in investors. Headline-making Bitcoin news includes the bankruptcy of Mt. Gox in early 2014, and the high-profile use of Bitcoin in drug transactions via Silk Road that ended with the FBI shutdown of the marketplace in October 2013. Both these incidents and the public panic that ensured drove the value of Bitcoins versus fiat currencies down rapidly. However, Bitcoin-friendly investors viewed those events as evidence that the market was maturing, driving the value of Bitcoins versus the dollar markedly back up in the short period immediately following the news events.

I'm not really sure on what excatly the reason is but maybe it has to do with the demand that Bitcoin is having in the market since its market value is proportional with the demand such that if the price is increasing, chances are high that the demand is getting higher. So if the value of it is changing everytime, same thing is happening with the demand and volume.

There is no Bitcoin Federal Reserve. New Bitcoins can't be printed at the rate of adoption. And there are certain whales who can singlehandedly affect the price.

Look at the exchange order books and they are thin enough for daily swings to be pretty huge. The market has not matured to the point where there are large reserves preventing a move in any particular direction.

And lately, there has been so much new money coming in, the sellers can't even remotely keep up. So the value has changed quickly, but mostly in the positive direction.

It will come to that point but currently bitcoin price is so high because more and more people are using or investing on it. As long as the users support bitcoin it is going to stay on top. Other crypto currencies has a long way before they reach where bitcoin is now.

I think ..we do not should feel anxious if Bitcoin's prices are volatile, because Bitcoin's fluctuating price indicates a high global interest in Bitcoin.

That's right, technology always changing everyday, the oldest one become obsolete by the coming of new technology, the value can't hold forever but if bitcoin starting to be implemented everywhere.
By that, there's a big chance that we'll see the cryptocurrencies can hold for a long time.

We all know that Cryptocurrency are entirely volatile especially Bitcoin that we are using right now. Why is it volatile? Because it is probably that demand and supply are depends on the consumer. If many consumer are investing it will rise its value but some investor are holding their money so that the money flowing in the blockchain would be lessen. Bitcoin value would not be stable.

The price of bitcoin will not reach $20,000 price because it is impossible and there is only a few weeks that is left for this year and after that then next year will come. The price of $10,000 is enough for me this year because i don't want to have too much expectation because it will just result for disappointments for me.

Its volatile because there is no consensus on how to prie a bitcoin. And the fact that half the folks that have traded bitcoin, absolutely suck at it Cheesy its more the investor maturity however, people react in this space on the slightest news.

Because bitcoin is freedom, because bitcoin is decentralized, then everyone is free to own and invest so price is very bumpy. I'm sure this will continue to happen even though the market cap has reached 1000 trillion USD.
