We cannot change any crypto currency on bitcoin even bitcoin cash can' overcome bitcoin. We know that Bitcoin cash is a good coin and really have a future but we can't say that it can change bitcoin to bitcoin cash. Because of bitcoin the bitcoin cash is made so there is no bitcoin cash if bitcoin will appeared.

@Op, it's really up to people to decide if they want to use this fork coin or not, I have no respect for it, because those who forked bitcoin are still mining bitcoin, nothing really changed other than having 16.4M extra coins to dump which I'm grateful for that

I guess we can expect another round of dumping given all the new and liquid supply? Unless a whale shows up to support the price on Poloniex and swallow up that new supply.

I have to say, though, it's held up remarkably well considering the fact that it's got no fundamentals and bitcoiners have widely rejected it. Someone with deep pockets has definitely been supporting the price.

These people never stops about the fact that bitcoin cash is just another alt coin in the market. Bitcoin is bitcoin and it will never be replaced by another alt coin, it can be upgraded into v2.0 or something similar but it will remain bitcoin. Put that in your mind that everyone will still stay on the original bitcoin. And that's not BCH.

But you're forgetting that Core just forced thru the Segwit changes to "original Bitcoin". So "original Bitcoin" is not really Bitcoin anymore either. Rumor has it "original Bitcoin" may forking again when they refuse the 2MB hard fork of Segwit2x, because Core wants to start banning Segwit2x nodes...

At some point "original Bitcoin" could be so crippled that it loses value, That's where Bitcoin Cash could step in.

If you say so, if you want to push bitcoin cash for another highlight or you can see that this is going to be a good choice for everybody when it comes to transaction. Do it for yourself, well it's a fact that bitcoin's value can lose suddenly but if you think that BCH is the successor, I don't think so.

What you seem to be oblivious to is that "Original bitcoin" just forcefully soft-forked to a completely different block storage and validation system (Segwit), which is as of yet unproven. Miners who don't wish to use Segwit have NO CHOICE but to use it if they want their blocks to be accepted. So "original bitcoin" has changed by 6000 lines of code, and the network is working very differently at this very moment. Most people on this forum seem happy about this new change, but that doesn't mean that "original bitcoin" remains the same. Furthermore, new attack vectors have been uncovered by Segwit.

Bitcoin Cash, on the other hand, opted to remain with the ORIGINAL BITCOIN block storage and validation method - no Segwit. Are you starting to see my point?

You can ignore segwit if you don't like it, the fact that miners must block segwit enabled bitcoins has no impact on your BTC holdings.

It is a soft fork. What did you expect, to create an altcoin that has segwit? that would create a crash on the price, and the main point was to avoid a hardfork so we don't end up with a bunch of different bitcoins all claiming to be the original bitcoin.

The legacy chain is the original bitcoin, with or without segwit. Maybe in the future a reasonable hardfork can be made, not anytime soon.

If BCash is so awesome and original bitcoin, then dump your BTC for BCC.

It's really fascinating to see these "Blockstream talking points" regurgitated. Perhaps you don't know that hundreds of altcoins hard forked this year, and there was not a single issue with the hard forks?

And I suppose the Kore fanbois do believe that you can "ignore something if you don't like it"? Finally, this "if BCC is so hot, dump your BTC for BCC" logical fail again. To illustrate, how many Kore fanbois are NOT dumping their BCC? Think about it.

BTC is pumping just like LTC did when Segwit locked in. Remember what happened the following month? Also, BCC is holding its value vs. BTC quite well, especially in the context of rapid appreciation of BTC.

I believe bitcoin cash has it's potential. But making things like bitcoin and get a high fledging value could take years. It may also get stable or decrease it's current value if bitcoin gets it's problematic transaction fees to get lower. If you want to invest on them do it,  but keep in min that they could be possibly like other ICO's.

It was the initial euphoria before people could deposit on exchanges, it went almost double than what I sold and I thought I put a really high sell order.

If they really plan to invest on Bitcoin Cash they should have at least waited for its price to go very low and before they buy and then hold. If the events turn out to be against Bitcoin Cash, at least they are already entering on a low level. Because entering during the high level will most probably give them losses rather than profits. The risk is also higher as well.

When it enters the market, I think many newbies are trapped and lost money investing on this shit coin BCH. That day only I understood this coin definitely come down within few hours like that happen within 36 hours its fell like hell. Now I think no one will believe this shit coin and no investors will show interest to put their money on this coin. Bitcoin is the evergreen coin in the digital world.

Folly. At best, i think bcc or bch would be behind bitcoin and etherium but it won't breach the top 2 cryptocurrency today. Bitcoin would continue its rise which we're seeing right now even more that its getting more and more followers

I think that he's not literally meant it. But i honestly agree with you, as for now the value of bitcoin is far above bitcoin cash and by seeing the network problem which bitcoin cash encounter, didn't really think it'll surpass bitcoin. well, people get their bcc for free, what do you expect than mass dumping?

After reading this topic I am in a dilemma.

Thinking of buying BCH if it rises above 500$. It is still too early to know which one will have more value, but I am optimistic, I believe they both will be very valuable, much more valuable than now, hundreds fold.
