$50,000 yes but it will take a few years
$100,000 why not??!
Pretty much this. We need to be patient, we don't want to regret selling off at $10,000 if bitcoin goes to over 100k a number of years later. 100,000 is an insane amount but not entirely impossible. However for bitcoin to bubble above 10K the regular fiat currencies really have to collapse wich would result in tremendous of people fleeing into crypto currency. The target $100,000 is possible, but Bitcoin can reach to this price after get accept as new currency and legal by most country on the world's. Then after 5-10 years for create growth slowly and stable as Gold from 2009 until today. |

The transaction fees are getting out of hand. Bitcoin was supposed to be a low-transfer-fee currency, but with so many transactions waiting to go into 1MB blocks the tx fee is becoming ridiculous. It needs to be fixed or other cryptocurrencies will become more popular than bitcoin and the price will stagnate.

Maybe we will be seeing $4K this month or the next, let's just enjoy it first. It may immediately go to $10k and then to $100k

Lol. There are many impossible things that being attempted before about the prediction of bitcoin, way back but I'm not sure if it is 5 or 6 years ago bitcoin was jump up to 1200$ and then 2016 it became 1000 to 1500 dollars I think, just correct me if I'm wrong, but now look at the price value it was 3200$ it continuously increasing the price just like skyrockect flying to the moon. |

I already read on the forum the view that people who have now bitcoins for 10,000 dollars (this is at the current rate of 3 bitcoins), by 2025 will be millionaires. How do you forecast?

precisely the value of fiat vs the value of bitcoin if things will run according to this speculation the owner of 1btc will gain a lot after maybe ten years or less its so fascinating but still possible to happen, just keep yourself busy while waiting for it. |

precisely the value of fiat vs the value of bitcoin if things will run according to this speculation the owner of 1btc will gain a lot after maybe ten years or less its so fascinating but still possible to happen, just keep yourself busy while waiting for it. That's what I've been doing myself. All I do is just hoard bitcoins as much as possible and then when the time comes, probably a lot longer than the near future and maybe in 5 to 10 years from now, we might reach that $100,000 price range. I am hopeful, but that is still far away and there are a lot of things that could still change. I would retire early if the prices reach $100,000 each. |

Ya.Bitcoin price is reached 3000$ today. Many said it's not possible to reach 3000$ and it is peak.But that is possible now.Some are saying it will reach 5000$ now. It also come true.But it take some more time to reach so.Don't think about the fluctuates and it is only temporary. |

I heard an economist on the radio a few weeks ago say that if Bitcoin becomes used as the currency for 10% of the world's transactions, it would be worth $200,000 each. It may be decades away, though, but his view wasn't based on speculation, it was based on actual use. So, in his opinion, growth in bitcoin will require massive growth in adoption.

Supply of bitcoin is limited and demand for bitcoin is growing so obviously bitcoin price will keep on increasing over time. I think price will be over $5k by end of this year. $100k per bitcoin might sound quite crazy but I think that one is also possible within next few years.

Not now but maybe in the future. For now we get to be amazed as it hits ATH! Perhaps those guys were right who were calling for it to hit 5k this year. Certainly 5k on cards for this year . Already after the 1st Aug event btc has being growing too strong and demand is continuously rising. It already crossed 3380$ and may be tomorrow we may see 3500$ being crossed. Actually BCC split has proved the boon for bitcoin as its price is rising very quickly nowdays. |

There is a huge possibilty that this will happen, we just need to make sure that we take care of our coins, there is no doubt that bitcoin is on the rise today, lets stay positive and prepare for the 100k mark since this will be another milestone for all of us.

yes. Maybe bitcoin will hit $100000 right now because of the segwit and many other things. Bitcoin has made a huge change in its system and I believe that it is a good chance for bitcoin to take a lead and become the number one currency one and for all. The price is now $3400 and keep increasing. Once bitcoin surpasses $4000, no one can stop it

Of that happens then the new investors will have very less probability to earn profits. Also not all can buy Bitcoins worth that amount so I don't personally feel that the prices will rise so much |

It's better to think on short term goals for now, $3500 at this moment, then $4000 after... These are possible scenarios to become real this year yet. |

The expectations of Bitcoin value to increase up to $100,000 for a shot period of time to me is out of greed for some people who are expecting the value of the little amount of Bitcoin in there wallet account to triple over night. Bitcoin at $100,000 is a long journey where no one can predict when such a miracle will happen.

I don't think that it will happen so easily. It will take a lot years to get near 100,000$. Now we can expect a price above 4000$. Even we can see the change in the price after August 8, after activation of segwit. But seeing bitcoin till 100,000 is of no sense for now. We can only expect it till 4k$. And if perhaps it goes till 100k$ then it would break all records and will be the most unique cryptocurrency. |

Now it is 3k$ and still much profitable to purchase but expecting a price near about 100k$ is not that easy. It would go above 4000$ according to me, but 100,000$ is quite a huge amount. I actually read your post twice because 100,000$ is not a usual amount and can change someones life easily. |

You guys are way too optimistic  So many pieces of the optimization puzzle have to come in place, and before competetors become a viable alternative and get mass adoption. BTC have the huge upper hand of being the coin in media's eyes for now tho, but it can change. Isent there some new drama 23. August or something? This recent bump is only temporary. |
