Hey all Wink,

Have been reading the forums for awhile now and just started dabbling in mining a couple of weeks back.

I have a couple of rigs now mainly mining ZEC and UBQ.

All my rigs are running Nvidia 9xx cards (mostly 970, 980, 980ti) and on the latest Windows 10 version.

Mining ZEC runs just fine and most of my hashrates are in line with what i've seen online; i.e. equihash mining seems to work alright. The issue i have however is with ethash mining when mining for UBQ. I use both Ethminer and Claymore's miner and my cards give me the following rates:

980 - 18-19mh/s
980ti - 19-20mh/s

Does that seem normal? I've read on the forums that the GTX 1060s are running 24-26? I would have thought that the 980s/980tis would do better than a 1060, which is certainly the case for ZEC (equihash) mining.

Do my numbers look OK or is something not right here?

Thanks for reading and keep on mining!!  Grin

http://mininghwcomparison.com/list/index.php?brand=nvidia (Note that some sites like these aren't always trustworthy. For example, I highly doubt anyone with a single Zotac 6GB 1060 is getting 133,5 MH/s on Ethereum.)

Use CTRL+F to find cards similar to yours, or at least cards with the same GPU. It looks like people aren't getting significantly higher performance than you are, but you might be able to squeeze out a few more megahashes/second by tweaking your clock settings.

How much graphics RAM do your cards have? I have some 3GB 1060s, and I haven't seen them exceed 20 MH/s each when mining Ethereum. (Although I haven't experimented much with clock settings.) 6GB 1060s tend to perform quite a bit better on Ethereum, but they are about the same as the 3GB versions when mining Zcash.
