However, you need to have a strategy at least to understand where lows and highs are, support and resistance levels at least and work with multiple TFs in order to seehow the price is moving withing different time periods. This is a bit harder than just buying dips and selling highs:)

Whatever strategy if things are still favoring you then it will help growing your assets, buying low and selling high back then is really a good one to use, but eventually the fluctuations are moving so fast not allowing our assessment to always be a good one, though we think that we bought it from the dip but afterwards it can fall more and worse from that, it can go deeper and burned our investment, combinations and sets additional plans so if ever things not going to our favor we do have other stuff to work with.

So I have seen Coinbase is the main "source" for buying/selling BTC, but I was wondering if anyone has used the method of converting bitcoin to another currency when it reaches a high point, then converting it back to BTC when it is low enough.

If so, what wallet(s), exchanges, etc. are you using? And more specifically, what crypto do you recommend converting BTC to, in this situation?

But the plan of every investor is buy low and sell high, that’s what we all wants to do, cause when you sell below your cost price then you’re a loser. As for the question on what to convert to when price is high, you should convert it to cash/fiat cause that’s what you bought with right??

Actually this is what most people do. This is a good way to earn money. I started trading like this. In general, nothing complicated. Just look daily traiding pairs to bitcoin and choose suitable ones. Usually, all deals were closed within 1 week with a good profit. I used Poloniex for these purposes. But I think any reliable exchange with a large list of trading pairs to bitcoin will suit.
