When the blockchain hard forked, I did not care about splitting my coins. But when I saw it was trading at more than $500, I decided to split them later and to wait for the price to go higher. But the price dived and now I regret it.

What about the rest of you, have you already dumped?

Actually even you split your bitcoins, your bitcoins will not gone right ? You still have your bitcoin and have an additional bitcoin cash. I already dumped my bitcoin cash when the price still high, because i'm sure the price will not stay high because many people have many bitcoin cash too.

If you know what you're doing you will still have a wallet full of Bitcoins and another wallet full of Bitcoin cash coins. If not you could end up with nothing. If you're not an expert at moving keys around, wait until you know what you're doing.

I was notified by Coinbase that they would not honor Bitcoin Cash and that their was going to be some type of fork. Didn't know exactly what they were talking about so I just played it safe and waited it out. I only had less than 2 Bitcoins on their site. I wasn't aware until late 8/6/2017 that I would be getting free coins.

When I first spotted Bitcoin Cash on the crypto market I was pissed  because it was as if they were copying the logo of Bitcoin to fool dumb people. Now that I know what it is I like the idea, as I will be getting thousands of $ worth of free coins. Even as Bitcoin is already Skyrocketing!  Grin

I wouldn't be surprised if this coin goes 1 to 1 with Bitcoin once everyone understands what has taken place.

It's extremely risky to put all your coins up on an exchange. So I'm going to import keys into a new BTC Cash wallet. I'm running out of hard drive space on my computer so I'll have to get another with much more memory.

Looks like the Bitcoin Cash price has been recovering. Plus 32% today.  Cheesy

I'm dumping it.

Bitcoin Cash literally has no media hype. Bitcoin has and will have plenty in the future. I can't buy into BCC until I see some original utility out of it.

For now Bitcoin Cash is just a great leverage used by the big mining companies. But I think there is a little chance that Bitcoin Cash will replace Bitcoin in the future. Maybe those chances are as big as the chances of Dogecoin to replace Bitcoin. Grin

I see it as 2 Bitcoins instead of only 1. Bitcoin split into 2 coins. Not really an alt coin.  They both have roughly the same supply of coins. They both have the right to a similar Bitcoin Logo and name. Experiments will be done with the Bitcoin Cash coin which  will likely pay off.   Smiley
