I dont think higher profit will decrease our bonus but higher loss will increase our bonus. It wont make any sense if higher profit decrease the bonus, as someone may get nothing if it is implemented to the calculation of the bonus. I'm guessing there is still at least a minimum bonus amount for each rank (will be decreased if there is no activity) and additional amount will be based on wagering stats + losing stats only. Profit wont affect the bonus because if players are in profit then Stake will use rank + wagering stats only imo. I'm not sure about house edge, afaik it does affect on the rakeback only but I might be wrong.

Exact method of bonus calculation is unknown and we have no clear idea on what makes it higher or lower, sure it makes sense to say that losing more should mean a lot more bonus, that is understandable because that makes sense even if you do not know, but there is no guarantee about it, higher profit shouldn't increase or decrease our bonus but based on wagering maybe you could have more.

So some guy who wagered 100k and lost 10k could get less bonus than some guy who wagered a million dollars but made 50k profit, because there is 10x higher wagering there, and that could be a good reason as well, the more you wager the more you profit. So in the end, we are talking about a good amount of profit here no matter what, and that could be a good reason why profiting doesn't prevent you from making more.

I think that should be an exact formula,based on the amount you wager you will receive x percentage of that amount in bonus but I also know that it would be boring to death knowing everything before hand.The adrenaline we get by not knowing how much weekly or monthly bonus we will get is much higher compared to when we already know for example that if I have wagered 1000 dollars monthly I will get 1% in bonus and that to be 10 dollars.It is much better when for example I have wagered 10000 dollars and have no clue what my bonus will be,I also agree with the bonus to be a bit more for people on the losing side.

This is not the first time that this happened and some people did lose some money in the previous attempt.    Looking at the chat conversations, it seems as though it is a mix of users and not just higher ranked players that are targeted.

It might not even be a new data breach, but simply a second phishing attack with the old data that were lost before. There are not a lot of people who would have changed their email address after the first phishing attack, so they can use the previous data over and over again.  (They just wait for the dust to settle and they try it again)

Don't know if there was a phishing email in November. I never click on links anyway.

Also the telegram message was kind of anonymous, because it was kind of a group many people got added to. There is no visual connection between user's telegram and their official stake account.

The email and username data is 100% from the stake hack several months back when a lot of user data was stolen.

Maybe it starts at platinum 4   . Since these players also receive a host, but who knows right.
Anyway, I'm not stupid enough to fall for these thing, no worries. I have seen it all and this makes me very careful.

If this is because of the data leak, then stake.com should take it seriously and inform their users that they may receive phishing emails and they should not click on any such phishing links or involved in any offers  (fake ofcourse) offered.

The point is that you are clever enough to know which email is real, which is a phish email and how to react to it, there may be many gamblers who are unaware of this, and they may fall for this trap.

If Stake.com publish that this attack can happen to their users, many will be saved as most of them will have beforehand knowledge of it.

I immediately changed my email address and added 2 factor authentication to it since the first attack,while already having my Stake account with google authenticator app as my 2FA security to my account.The people who fall victim to phishing attempts nowadays when security awareness is everywhere for those who want to look for it and secure their account that the only responsible for the loss are the user themselves,Stake do what they can to be as secure as possible but if users do not want to use those options then it is nobody fault except for the users themselves.

Well, each particular analysis as long as it works and is coherent is fine, which is your case. Then, in my case it made me analyze that calculation it, so, I do it before, is what makes me go for the bonus, I would not go for a bonus without knowing how much I'm going to earn.

Although sometimes, it is not necessary to make calculations, one receives them because you are simply betting and they will arrive, yes or yes. (Their case)

I can confirm that ive not changed my login details since I joined stake back in early 2022 if I still remember well, I know of one time when (though not publicly announced), some users claimed that there was a data breach on stake, stake themselves did not announce anything so I waved it aside as a rumor, and now, here we are again, stake have not said anything or made any official announcement that a data breach occured on their platform, and though I don't particularly know about any user who have claimed to be affected by the presumed breach, but I can confirm that every thing is just fine from my end, though I do have 2fa active on my account.

I will advice every stake user to activate 2fa on their account, it's for their security, even if you are phished, with 2fa active, it will be difficult for the hackers to withdraw the funds on your account or make any meaningful changes to your account's security and privacy settings.

Prompts to enable 2fa are always sent at least once a year but they won't ask the user to change the password
the reason is that it would harm their reputation regarding security they can lose user trust, what they do is ask the user to always check the link and make sure that it is stake.com  when noreply@stake.com email gets hacked on November they just asked us to double check the link here is the announcement Twitter.

Stake.com claim all data is safe even though hackers claim to have stolen more than 400,000 user data however this statement cannot be confirmed. The admin at stakecommunity.com suggests users who have already clicked on the link  to change the password and set up 2FA just for anticipation, so if any user still get phishing email then it's possible they have clicked on the link and their email has been recorded so the best way is to change the emai.

Maybe you aren't aware of the sendgrid email data breach of Stake.com as you aren't an active gambler there. Stake team had given a warning about phishing attempt after the sendgrid data breach on their telegram channel. Stunna had made a post about it and suggested the user to enable 2fa after the 9th November phishing attack.

My monthly was so insultingly low, I decided to not play at stake for the time being. Only collect some bonus money until that will also fade away.

I mean, for people that are familiar with daily reloads by the VIP host. You can choose to get this reload daily/hourly or even every 10 minutes. The smaller the time frame the more money you can claim if you claim them all. Of course people also need to sleep so claiming all is basically impossible.

Anyway, this week I have a good reload because of recent activity and basically if I claim my reload every hour for 3 days only I have more money than my monthly bonus today. How that is even possible I don't understand.

With my numbers I expected 3x the monthly I got. 

Time to move on to bigger and better things.

Everybody on their chat are complaining about how low it was even diamond players saying they wagered a helluva lot (around $2mln in one day! And they only received $1200 after expecting $5-8k from the previous performance just prior the previous month) and didn't even receive the base amount that Stake had said they have guaranteed to all players for their monthly bonuses once the time came.
For $102 how much was your total amount wagered and were you in profit?
Those players all said they were not in profit at all and actually lost more than last month.
So I and many others who have received and claimed their bonus for this month are preplexed at the amount they received.
I received the same amount as you and wagered well over $77k since last livestream during the megarace where they said the weekly was distributed in error by just the base amounts alone.
Receiving $1.90 isn't right for any platinum player who is actively wagering every day of the week. Which the base amounts have always been $35 flat out for keeping active betting.

Look at this guy from the forum for example. Wagered 190k with a micro loss and got 130$ .
How ryza gets a similar amount for 10x less wager is beyond me. 



Monthly is just as dead as the weekly bonus. They cut that thing open and took out so much, it's not worth waiting for it anymore. If they keep doing this people will turn their back on stake real quick.

Most players only play there because of the bonus. Take that out of the equation and what's left? Fast withdrawals, that's the only thing. Casino is same as on other sites, same game providers. Sports book is much worse than other sites, especially odds, number of live games and games to bet on in general. Support is often clueless and unwilling to help.

Hopefully some new site emerges soon and gives stake a run for their money.

Just for comparison, I received half amount than you guys ($52) but my wagering activity for the last 30 days is also no more than half that you did. I wagered $7k only this month and with small profit ($80). One more thing, my VIP level is Plat 2 and I believe you are higher level. This monthly bonus is basically the same amount as what I received last month with not big difference on the all statistic, so I guess it is the correct amount I get. Talking about the weekly bonus, last weekly bonus was indeed the lowest I have ever received as Plat 2 ($4 only) but as we all know that there was a mistake.  Not quite sure if there is also a mistake in the current monthly, but if there are too many players received "too low" bonus compared what they have wagered or compared to what they used to get, Stake should recheck it asap.

The thing is... we can complain all we want here, but nobody from Stake.com are responding to any of the posts that are made here, other than a few posts that are marketing some kind of promotion. 

The other thing is.... Stake bonuses are way higher than most online casinos, so you do not have a lot of other options to pick from, if you decide to play somewhere else.

Let's hope this is only a "bug" in the system and that it will be fixed, like they said with the "bug" in the last Weekly.
