I already see now the announcement, it’s just odd that it didn’t notify me while my settings on telegram has notifications on. I’m eager to claim this week since I ended my game at loss while I wager a lot in the process.

Thankfully, one of the games that I truly love is there in that promotion. Lab Lunacy. That's where I won x5000 and got $500 in the process. I am still hoping that I could get that one more time although I have not yet been lucky to hit it.

Jade Fate is also a good game that I played before and I won a good amount there after getting lucky. Still, I will prefer the games like Lab Lunacy not just because of the RTP but because I do honestly enjoy it.

Out of interest, i would love to see some statistics, like how long people have played, or how much people have poured money to some specific slot machine before it had given back 5000x or more to anyone?

I know that those numbers wouldn't really mean anything as probability is funny that way. But since we tend to remember winners and dismiss the amount of lost bets, hearing news about huge wins distorts our reality of our actual changes to win big. Today lost $322  I hate myself because of these mistakes again and again. the more I try to quit gambling, the more it haunts me.  I feel very guilty today. at first I was able to make $322 to $418 but my greed made me want to win more dollars and at the last minute I lost all the dollars. It’s good to unwind after your loss but you should change your bankroll size on your next game to minimize risk and avoid guilt because surely 322$ is not the right value for you.

Not only did he lose the money, he also lost it way too quick. With smaller stakes he could have squeezed plenty of wager out of these 300$ so he can get a better weekly/monthly, claim telegram bonus drops with 10k wager requirement and also claim pretty much all the drops on the stake stream next Saturday. With 2k wager though not 1 thing of these mentioned perks can be accomplished. 

Next time make your bets with more consideration and patience. Chasing losses by doubling the wager amount quick is never a good idea. And as Coin mentioned, never play with money you can't afford to lose. Gambling should be recreational and not to make money (I know it sound dumb and we all want to make money but it's the truth).

Maybe that's only for some people.
I have a friend that is platinum 2 or 3 and some weeks ago he got offered bonus cash to do level 2 verification. First they offered 50$, then 100$ and finally 250$. As far as I know he didn't do it, even for the 250, hopefully for him the next mail to him won't be the one you got there. On reddit I saw several posts with the same bonus offers being sent to players.
To be honest, new players already have to do some sort of KYC just to be able to deposit. Making it kind of mandatory for existing customers was only a matter of time I guess.

Edit: I asked him and he got the same email as you, but with the 250$ bonus if he does it in the next couple of days.

I'm sure all non level 2 verified users received the same email, as I heard is that all users should be at least level 2 verified before 2025 Jan 1st but for the $250 bonus it is limited to this week only (till Oct 7th).
Frankly speaking, I'm jealous with the $250 offer becasue I did not receive any bonus when I did level 2 verification long time ago IIRC 
Btw, as far as I can see on the last weekend stream, the number of online users was a bit less than it used to be.

You are right about that, but this is a casino that if they want to operate more widely they have to play by the rules. Even if you verify lev2 Stake will keep your data safe and secure as long as you play fair, I mean you are a guest so obey the rules of the house. Your intention to gamble will not change and Stake will still serve if there is a complaint. So decide for yourself whether KYC or not, there are still many casinos out there that may not require KYC but you have to do it at your own risk. Or you can use a casino with web3 features that connect directly to your wallet.

As long as the casino uses games from third parties, KYC is required but if the casino only provides original games then KYC is not required or they have the choice to implement it or not. Talking about Stake.com yeah it's just about time, until the time comes when every user is required to go through KYC and if we ask the Stake.com team of course they don't want that but they have no choice because business must go on.

As far as I know level 1 is enough to get a deposit address and start the game, but have you ever thought what KYC level 1 means? it doesn't mean anything at all because they can use fake data it's just that the risk is waiting when they win something big KYC level 2 is likely to be activated. Some of my friends said for now $10,000 withdrawal does not require KYC while in other casinos withdrawal of $2000 requires KYC.

It is better to do the KYC at once instead of doing it step by step. And I believed even in the registration form in Stake there are some personal information were asked to complete the process and that is the first verification. And that verification is okay because ful name, email and phone number are asked there. And asking KYC in all the time is a delay tactics when you are in the mode to play games.
