I understand what you mean about the casino vault not being a good place to store funds. Stake tries to provide that feature for those who need it.
I also did not receive the email, more often it is an email containing promotions and new Stake games. But I know the feature has been around for quite some time.

I never understand the purpose of the vault. It has 0 advantage, absolutely 0. You can transfer it out anytime, so it's not locked or anything. It won't pay you any dividends or whatever. So why would I use it is the question?

The only purpose it's used for is for sending your level up funds or maybe some loss back bonus from your host. But they could also just send it to your wallet instead of that. Sending it too the vault is rather annoying because you have to transfer it out after they sent it.
Now sending players an email to advertise the vault is funny tbh. Every email that promotes nonsense is always so tiring to receive. Other players get "wager 5000$ and we give you 750$" and so on (seen on reddit, several amounts) but recently I only get straight up garbage.

Usually, I do not keep my funds in centralized places whether it be a gambling site or an exchange. It is always better to keep only the funds with which you gamble on the gambling site and the rest of the funds should be in your personal wallet. Stake is no doubt one of the best and trusted site where one can gamble even with big amounts but still the gambling site isn't your crypto wallet to store your money.

Since I closed my amount indefinitely here 0 emails I have received so that means at this they are consistent in their marketing emails. I think I have to thank these guys, they "mess" with the RTP at a level that my nerves could not hold it anymore and call it a day forever here which I am standing more than firm and it has been more than 15 days now that I don't feel the need of gambling. Well I will comment only the assertion of the KYC at the registration process in stake.com. I believed from your points of arguments both of you are not new gamblers and new to stake.com. and you know how the registration was and how stake.com asked participants of the casino to did KYC to level up from level 1 to level 2 and those who did it were given some sum of dollars and that happened last year and a deadline was given to those who had not did their KYC. So if you were actively participating you would have experienced it as well. And the registration of stake.com was always with KYC and the only thing was there was no ID Card and other documents addition but mobile phone number and email address, and addresses were there so KYC is not a new thing in stake. This has been discussed in this thread many times.

I don't know why people like to cry foul when they ask them to perform a lawful exercise. How else would Stake explain to them to the point of compensating? No-KYC casino is different from KYC casino, and if the KYC casino has not asked you for the KYC today doesn't mean they will not ask you for it the next tomorrow or do not have the right to ask you for it. KYC casino customers should rather get ready if they are lazy enough to do it ASAP.

You make a valid point about security for both sides, and I’d happily accept this had it been implemented earlier. Unfortunately, it’s happening now, which complicates things for users like me who registered before these new rules.

This only reinforces my argument: why is Stake suddenly making KYC mandatory now? Which regulation or ruling is driving this sudden change? Really perfect timing for them considering my case as they can now say: Look! We made it mandatory! We comply with all rules!

I really hope they run out of business. All these years of money laundering, fraud and more just goes unnoticed at this point

If you still receive emails marketing, that's the weird one. People who think sending 2x email/days and few days gaps was really spamming wait until your see some serious problem in United Stated from Sportbook Apps called Draftkings and other sportsbook apps that always send over 30-50 notifications/days + they're using AI to monitoring our history activity so the promotion is always suited to you.

Agreed. Experiencing the ninja investor of Blackjack.fun makes me think that the vault is indeed useless for normal gambler like me since I can just withdraw easily my funds for paying less than 1$ for fee then it’s safe and sound on my non custodial wallet.

We received pre monthly earlier this month and as long as I remember there was no history when we received pre and post monthly on the same month. If there were Chinese New Year bonus in a form of post monthly bonus, I guess it was because there were no pre monthly bonus on that month so they used the Chinese New Year moment to send post monthly bonus. Maybe we can hope another pre monthly bonus on the 1st week of February then Valentine bonus in a form of monthly bonus a week later.

LOL I think the same thing as you, but unfortunately there is no bonus. No problem, maybe we are too hopeful and before we also get some bonuses, for me at least 3-4 bonuses during January so maybe February is the right time to wait for another bonus. That's an incredible win right there, wow, absolute congrats to them.

And one thing I've actually learnt from the video (even though it's very short) is that big winnings come more when we least expect it, like that time when you gambled and lost and simply just want go all in and loose the last of your account balance so you know you have an empty bankroll, just that moment, you hit the big jackpot, and for like five to ten seconds, you just may be staring at your screen and asking yourself if this is real or you are dreaming.

I appreciate the fact you acknowledge some points, and of course, they are the reality of things unless we want to shy away from the reality.

That said, this regulation of a thing can't be blamed on Stake still, is Stake a no-KYC casino? No. The world is revolving, and things change. Even exchanges that served people for many years without a KYC later came to ask all their customers for it, a very good example is OKX. Stake cannot be different in this regard and it is in the best position to give the true reason for the action, we can only suspect reasons.

And some of what I suspected were regulations, it costs Stake nothing to keep its customers without KYC if the authorities allow it. But I tell you today, there are many allegations and legal battles such a big name will be fighting underneath, so they have to comply with all regulations to save its neck.
