Recently I tried to log back into the stake site to play there, when I felt I had enough to play, I made a withdrawal, but I found that I still had to do the wager requirement, I just found out about this on the stake, fortunately I managed to complete the specified wager requirement and successfully made a withdrawal. 1x wagering requirement on deposit without bonus is a very common thing in casinos, as pointed out by ryzaadit above, some casinos has this rule written on their terms while some others do not write it in their terms page.
No one knows when it started to be implemented but it was long time ago because if you want to check yourself in this thread, there was a discussion about this 1x wagering requirement long time ago.

After deposit, there is a wagering requirement of 1x the deposit amount to protect against money laundering.  Because if not, many people will use these sites as mixers. Any illegal money deposited here and then withdrawn will change the route of the money so that it cannot be tracked.  And that's why they keep this basic wagering thing to filter only the real gamblers. It is very small for a wagering gambler so it is not a problem.

In your case, the account inactive for 2 years but can claim $10 weekly bonus, my friend is Platinum 2  inactive for almost 5 months and at that time he claimed a weekly bonus of around $0.5 so from these 2 cases, what is the most appropriate reason why this could happen?

I think for some reason sometimes they don't count wager or activity from each account and only inject basic bonuses, so even if the account is inactive users can still claim bonuses. The question is what is the reason they do it? may be late in summarizing wagering statistics from each account while bonuses must be distributed on Saturday or is this purely a miscalculation? This Saturday I was one of the users who couldn't claim the weekly bonus on the first link so I waited about 30 minutes to get a new link and claim it.

This is strange because the active players would have received the highest bonus weekly and if the inactive players would received bonus it would have been less but the revised is the case here. This would have been best explain by the customer service representative here or the ANN thread representative here but non is available. Exactly. Before the addition of the progress bar you maybe got a message or something like "you can't do that at the moment". So yeah, the rollover was always there, as long as I remember. I am with stake for over 4 years and I was always aware of that fact.
I also think it's not a big deal.
The only thing that might be annoying is when you deposit to make a bet, then you want to make it and suddenly it tells you that you exceeded the limit, I had this before. So you basically deposited for 1 single purpose which you now can't de. Now your money is stuck unless you wager it on any alternative.

In the casino bonus terms and conditions, they always make the bold statement that, the team has 100% right to give whatever bonuses they wish to any players as weekly or monthly bonuses rewards, so is the right and for that we can't question them why they should give one inactive player $10 rewards and another 0.50.

We should focus more on individual account rewards and not compound our problem by asking why gambler A gets more rewards than gambler B since we already understand their term and co-conditions as regards bonuses and rewards.

I saw your post in the Scam Accusations thread and from some screenshots it seems they ask you to go through live KYC and you can't complete it which means they suspect you are using another identity/friends or other parties, well this makes your account in a worse situation. We have no way to help you further but if you feel on the right track you can take another step for example through a third party yeah at least you get your money back but if you are on the wrong track then you have to forget it, all will be in vain if they have flagged your account.

Since I was the one who complained about problems with INR deposits through UPI on stake.com, I believe that it is my responsibility to share my recent experience.
It is good to see that stake.com took my feedback seriously and improved its INR deposit process. Now, whenever there is a payment delay on behalf of stake.com you do not have to wait for days in order to get a refund. 99% of the time it goes through instantly and the delay is also limited to 2-3 minutes. I have deposited many times recently and am quite impressed by the improved deposit process.

Yeah the addition of the progress bar really was necessary. You always had to guess how much wager you have left to complete the rollover but at least now you know. Another site that has this is BC, I guess longer than stake. The even have a rollover tab where you can see the rollover requirements for deposits but also bonuses and so on.

It's no news that most casinos require you to at least wager 1x of the deposited amount before you can withdraw, but what I can't agree to is that they are using that to prevent money laundering, how? If you have put that in the head, even if you were told by one of them, I advise you to delete it ASAP, it's just a flimsy excuse.

Even the KYC casinos do that, so what is the purpose of the KYC? If there's any party benefiting from the condition, it is the casino because you have a high chance of losing the money before the requirement is met, that's the purpose.

Suppose casinos would indeed want to help in the area of anti-money laundering, they should ensure that the withdrawal is only returned to the deposited account/wallet, which settles it as no one can indirectly mix the money that way.
