Well the explanation is easy. Last monthly was for a time frame of just around 22 days. This monthly is for the last 39 or 40 days, so if your gameplay stayed the same of course it would pay much more since the wager/days it accounts for is much higher compared to the previous one.
Glad they gave it today, now I don't have to read those "wen monthly" or "how high will my monthly be" on reddit anymore, it's getting old quick seeing the same questions over and over again.

Because it is unusual for the monthly bonus to be delayed, apart from that I admit that this monthly bonus is different from last month, well you could say it's a little bigger.

The monthly bonus for each month is published on a random date during that month.
This is not considered as a delay, since the monthly bonus can be published at any point of the ongoing month.
However, if you compare the monthly bonus for April with the one published for March, for example, I understand that you could make the impression that the monthly bonus for April is a bit delayed, as the monthly bonus for March was released at the beginning of that month.
In each case, there is no reason to worry as the monthly bonus for April will be released during this month.

Not for me though. Looks like I got the amount which I should have received in normal situation. I got $36 from it, my expectation was a little bit higher for my wager and deposit losses. I had turned the amount into $150 before giving it back to Stake. There was no message about the Easter in the monthly bonus email. So, there is a little chance of getting a post-monthly bonus at the last week of this month with Easter message.

Yes, the bonus amount is the same as it was the last time, around $10. I just got the same monthly just before this (can't really complain as I was wagering quite low, mostly because of sports bets). I am not sure if everybody from India got this bonus, but I would be curious to know if it has been given to a select few (it will feel much better ). I also took part in two stake.com surveys recently, so it might be related to those surveys as well. I am not sure, though.

If we are to assume that he isn't the only one who received that particular type of bonus, as long as its not a general bonus (by general bonus, I mean bonus that was distributed to all qualified users on the platform), then don't expect alot of people or persons to talk about it most especially on this forum and this is because, it's not every user of stake that are on this forum, some many Stake users may not even know that a forum like this even exists in the first place.

Of course this wasn't the first time drake put some huge bets on UFC or other stuff on stake, he did that all the time and posted about it. The most action though was always when there was a drake stream about the corner. What's not so common is him winning those bets, he has quite a terrible ROI history tbh. Mostly he is just gambling casino games straight up, that's why he has so much wager and frequently wins in the weekly raffle on stake (even though he should be excluded from this raffle since he is clearly a sponsored guy aka on stake's payroll).

People that are close to level up or recently got a level up can get this bonus email, randomly. I got it twice within 1 week last year when I moved from platinum 5 to 6.
So this bonus is random while top monthly is given out by the hosts (always around 1st of the month) for the top wagering people in their group. And yeah, obviously I still have the opinion that any kind of chasing VIP levels or anything is kind of a waste of time since you lose more compared to what you will get at the end.
