When slots come out I think there would be more people coming in just for slots. I wanted to ask if it is legal or illegal to play on
stake via twitch? Like if people were to stream your games while they play, would that be allowed? I am not asking my part of it, I know my part of the legality, I just wanted to ask if stake allowed such thing?

I couldn't find any rule that stated that gamblers can't stream their own gambling but I just wanted to make sure if it is allowed by the team, I didn't want to just assume I couldn't find any stream rules in ToS and start doing it and then couple days later I get a letter saying I am doing something illegal. If the team says I am good to go then I may end up playing slots on stake on stream and even if I don't win in gambling, I could make some profits from streaming .

I tried to contact OP SteveStake and a couple of frequent participants but nobody replied to me so far.

There is no guarantees that Stake will get better idea if they open the beta stage of the sportsbook publicly. Other many sites did not even conduct beta stage before they launched officially so beta stage wont bring significant differences whether it is opened publicly or privately to some users only. In case of heavy load, do you think that sportbook will get heavier load than other common games such as dice or crash? Even if there will be many players opening the sportsbook game at the same time, I believe Stake is well experienced enough to manage it. At least it has been proven with their other games, so you do not need to be so worry about it.

It seems like you do not understand how betas function and you need to do your research. I have been a part of a wide variety of betas in various fields(Gambling, IT, Gaming etc) and understood 1 thing(Alphas and betas are critical testing points of any project).

Also, you are grossly underestimating that load that sportsbooks endure when displaying a ton of live matches. Just go and check a popular sportsbook like Pinnacle during the weekend and you will understand my point.

Looking at how there is beta sign ups for the sportsbook and nothing for the slots could we say that slots are further away than sportsbook? Or, is there a reason why people can achieve beta access to sportsbook but can't connect to slots beforehand?

I would love to have sportsbook, I love stake (and primedice) and I know this website with sportsbook will be amazing but I also can't wait for the slots as well, that is the most fun game I can play now because I played all other games millions of times already and sportsbook is something you have to wait, like you bet on a game and then wait for the game, but when slots come I will be capable of playing it all day long without any breaks, it is going to be super fun and I know I will lose a ton of money for a while but I will make it up back with the fun I will have.

Are you guys working with someone on sportsbook or will you do your own? That would change a lot of stuff about the sportsbook, if you are working with a place like pinnacle or something both on technology front and the odds front that means even tho it won't be something super amazing and shocking, it will be quite alright because those places know what they are doing and they do offer decent odds and they are technologically good and sound since they have to be good and consistent because of all the customers they have.

However, if you are doing it yourself there is a potential to be HUGE and amazing but there is also a chance that it gives errors and problems and issues and odds not being so awesome etc etc. Knowing which one you guys will do could change our perspective about it.

I don't know much about the crypto charity fund, first time I have ever heard about them and I tried to look but the account stake has tagged seems like their account has been suspended so either stake didn't tagged the right account or crypto charity funds account got suspended. So, I couldn't vote for them since I knew nothing and their account was gone.

Between war child run to rescue and eff, it looked no brainer to me. EFF is a digital charity that is not really a life threading thing, its good to have but its not like they help poor people not starve, the run to rescue is way too religious, they are a "christian" non-profit, I am sorry but there are other religions and I don't want religion in my charity. War Child was perfect, an organization that helps people who have no one else that helps them, its basically life or death thing they help.

10 billionth bet was made just before the mega race started about an hour ago.

But as you can see they didnt wager the required amount of 1000 satoshis worth which was in eth so even less to be able to claim the prize. So according to the rules of the contest they just keep counting until someone did have a wager of said amount.
It looks like this one made just this amount needed so to claim the prize.

My guess is that they might copy Pinnacle odds and add some juice here and there since this is what most sportsbooks do due to Pinnacle usually providing the best odds out there in the market.

They would need to advertise the sportsbook addition heavily in order to attract new traffic and their margins need to stay low. I am guessing they might take additional time to offer live bets since they are more complicated.

@bitgolden I too voted for war child as that’s an organisation that could really benefit from thier their funds, as far as crypto charity fund is concerned I don’t think they’ll be sketchy otherwise stake would never have added them in the first place. The reason I didn’t choose EFF because I wasn’t sure of how effective they’ll be in helping people who live in different countries, their religious views didn’t matter to me as each one is free to follow his own religion and should not be rejected based on the religion they follow.

This is why we love stake so much, there seems to be an issue, not even a big one, like just a question regarding somethings future so it is not even an issue, and steve comes up and answers it, no other place as big as stake actually is this involved with their customers.

We all know you guys are doing very well economically, maybe not in profits because you have to have a bankroll to pay the winners, you pay staff, lawyers, accountants, and god knows how many other things all thanks to that 1% house edge so surely your profits are not consistent anymore but still you must be doing well and yet you still come here and try to collaborate with customers to find answers on questions that needs a result. It is awesome and I hope it always continues like this without any change.

It seems that the slot game will be launched soon, I saw some S (Support) share BetIDs for the slot game some hours ago. I guess they were trying the game first before releasing it publicly. I was happy when I saw one Support share the betID as I thought the game was ready already but it is still in "coming soon" when I went back to the main page after I saw the BetIDs for the slot games on the chat room.
Cant wait for longer time, so hopefully it will be ready as soon as possible.
