OMG, these x11 games are getting out of hand recently, I should totally go and check out if I could win a bit with the x11 odds as well However let alone having the courage to bet on 0.33 bitcoins to see if I could also win 3.35, I do not even have 0.33 bitcoin to gamble So I doubt even if I hit a big win it would be a news worthy thing to shown here .

People must be either super rich or super crazy to bet on these huge numbers, 0.33 may not look like a big deal to you but do not forget that this person probably didn't played only once, so even though he hit this one maybe he lost couple more before this, all in all he could be in profit but nobody just hits once and leaves, they usually stay around and either play some before the big win or play some after the big win so these are huge numbers when combined.

It is not really that attractive to just go out there and write a websites name in some other websites topic, you can have a signature of any website and write anywhere you want and that's fine, its the way bitcointalk and everyone has a signature now and they make money from it and all that, however writing how "x is also a great place go check it out" on another websites topic is not really cool.

Firstly, stake was among the long existing gambling no doubt about that but I don't see anything bad in mentioning a website on a thread which belong another site which happen to be doing the same business since the thread is not self moderated, the statement made by the person in subject is not off topic, blasphemy or say negative about the thread owners. However, you can't expect him not to advertise the site he works for since that's what he's paid for.

nowadays both "big" and "small" sites  offer house edge as low as 1% , which is the industry standard nowadays
but I agree that "big" sites can and are offering many incentitives to the players to gamble at their site
promotions and competitions, giveaways and rains and so on - people love free money and fun
so it is only reasonable to choose the platform that offers both in addition to the usual house edge and your usual set of the games

To conclude, you meant that there are at least three components to consider one site as a big one:

it is not the main requirement for a site to be considered a big one
you drew the wrong conclusions , certainly giveaways and promotions and low house edge is important
but what is even more important - trust , age of the site, instant withdrawals , great support  etc.
its the combination of the above that makes a site "big"
competition , generally , is just another form of a giveaway , can be chat competitions , challenges , contests and so on

Lol, you tricked us! I was just having a huge heart attack on seeing 2 bet and 1600 win than I was looking for the source and trying to find who did it and even if its real or marketing example and all that. After a while I realized it is DOGECOIN lol not bitcoin.

It is still an INSANE chance to hit that, not many people can see it in their lifetime let alone actually win from it and even though this guy earned basically close to nothing (no idea how much 1600 doge worth) its still a nice story to tell about your life like how you hit royal flush once. I have been trying to bet a bit and hit something huge for couple hours now but I think I won't be the one to win lol, my luck today is waaay off and couldn't really get anything unfortunately.
