Guys, let's talk Plinko.

Now I know the experience is different for everyone and there are no fixed formula to hit the MAX multiplier, but people what is your experience with it?

1. How many bets on the Seed does it take for you to hit the MAX multiplier? (It was said.... 40k or 60k ...but lately people are saying 100k or 200k bets) - I am currently on 489k bets ....still no MAX win.  

2. Do you increase the bet amount per ball as you push towards the goal? (You obviously cannot stay on say $0.20 for all the bets.)
3. Do you switch Coins? (What happens if you switch coins)

Please share your experience, because my Plinko is a bottomless Money Pit!

I share your opinion. I never got crazy lucky with Plinko so far even though the house edge is pretty low. However, I have heard stories of people literally becoming rich because of this game right here in Bitcointalk.

Depends on what your angle is. If you mean it takes luck as in depends on which bet it will be, you are right and it will take luck to hit at an early bet instead of like 5000th bet. However, if we are talking about running out of money, that is a bit of a skill, because if you know what you are doing then you will wager with much less, whatever is allowed at minimum, and some other people may end up calculating the possibility of a x1000 return and wager more and run out of money. Seen plenty of people who did "well it must be once in a thousand, so I can be ready for 3000 bets and that should be fine" and it turns out to be 5k times like you said, so they run out of money. So which bet is luck, but not running out of money is skill if you ask me.

No, guys..... the days are long gone for people to hit the Max multiplier on Plinko with only 10k or 20k bets. I have a much different approach to it, because I will play something else....and when I hit a big multiplier ..I will push some of those winnings into Plinko. So it is a lot like eating an Elephant..... you eat it small portions at a time... not all in one go.  

Also, if you start on say $0.10 .....  you obviously have to gradually increase your bet size... to be profitable or to break even when you hit the Max multiplier. (Lately.... this is not the case anymore, because the bets necessary is much too high to be profitable)

Yes this requirement was updated this year to reduce spam activity in chat rooms the most effective is KYC because not everyone wants to do it
I've been inactive in the chat room and haven't received rains since 2021 and the last time I sent rains was about 2 months ago
last week my friend sent a screenshot that one of his friends got $1000 from rains at that time whale sent $5k for 5 users.

Yeah, I also already read nice stories (and saw some videos) about people winning the maximum multiplier with only a couple of bets. It is like you say, it all depends on luck.
From time to time, I still play on it (especially after reading such stories) but still waiting on my moment of luck lol!

One thing I actually admire about stake is their dedication towards these small giveaways. We all know these giveaways happen every week and then replaced by new ones but never for once they make it look boring by adding some kind of theme and posters. For example, now they're calling it "Lost in Space |Keno Challenge" and even have a poster matching that theme. These are small things that don't matter at all but make the challenges more fun and interesting.

On the matter of odds and everything being discussed above, I agree stake offers better odds than fiat sportsbooks for a few sports like UFC but they have some really bad odds for e-sports at times so yeah I can understand both points of view. Generally, when I am betting on UFC I come to stake and for other events I switch to another sportsbook that offers boosted odds and I have a special sportsbook for esports lootbet, since they are not direct competitors to stake, I guess it's okay to name them.

True. It's completely random which makes it more challenging to win big through these games. My biggest win so far through Plinko was close to 0.05 BTC, but I lost a decent amount of money before that win.

Those big wins are good motivators which prove that winning big amounts is completely possible, but we should invest only what we are willing to lose.

Yes, my "Weekly" was also much less than the week before and I did not make any Sport bets in that week..when it was more. I specifically concentrated on making more Sports and Slots bets to see if my "Weekly" would be better.... and it was worst. 

I am testing it again for this "Weekly" to see if it will pay more, if I change my game play significantly. I also lost a lot more than previous weeks, so in theory I should get a lot more for the "Weekly"

They said the new calculation is based on how much you lost in that previous week and how much you made Slot/Sport bets.

It's to counted your previous weeks wagering with the current weeks, that's how we can make sure. If just by feels, it's hard to be track because they already have the system it self. If not wrong, we will have a new system.

Afaik the new system has been implemented since last week because my weekly is like doubled than what I used to get although my wager remains the same in average.
I lost some money last week and I received more amount than usual, that's why I think the new system is already activated.
Tracking our wager amount as well as our overall profit during a week is the best thing to do if we want to get better "guess" about how to calculate the weekly bonus.

Stake team had announced that the bonus will be increased by 50%. But it will depend on some other factors. I have lost a deposit in the previous week, but I couldn't manage to make a good wager. Still I have receive a bit higher amount than the earlier weekly boost amount. I think the losses and other parameters are working to boost our bonus amount. I haven't made any deposit in this week. I think I will receive the base amount from the upcoming weekly boost. Perhaps, bigger losses will obviously increase the weekly bonus amount significantly.

I get that you may think that there is a way to make sure that you end up winning, but at the same time you will always end up getting trumped by an elephant one day and make all of that dream of eating it go away. Trust me, casinos are built in a way that it is impossible for you to gamble and win in the long run, sure you could do it for a while but eventually you will end up losing.

Doesn't matter if you start with 10 cents or 10 dollars or 10 million dollars, if you keep on gambling, "eventually" you will lose all of your money. That is why it is smarter to stay away from all of this and make sure that you are doing the right thing by gambling responsibly.
