Seeing something like this makes me immediately go to Stake and place at least a couple of bets on Starlight Princess slot. And I go, and do I make just a "couple" of bets? This is an amazing win for sure, but why do everyone completely forget that he/she could be in profit or loss overall depending on previous bets?

If he/she lost a small amount before this win, then he/she literally became rich overnight. However, if he/she lost a huge amount before this win, then this particular win would basically minimise losses or grant a small profit basically.

It is not hidden, but maybe they did not announced publicly. As we all can see here https://help.stake.com/en/articles/4821738-what-is-rakeback-how-it-works-and-how-to-get-it and as confirmed by live support, the rakeback is now 5% only. The same information is also available under the VIP club page, but the information about when it is changed is available in the help center page. The article about rakeback is updated this week. Anyway, I dont understand why Stake cut it 50% off, but I think it may affect some players and may leave Stake because of this change. 

Don't know what to say now, but it is a tricky move from Stake team. And they have done it really bad. The rakeback was 10% since the beginning. Suddenly they have reduced the rakeback rate by 50% without informing the users. At the same time they have increased the weekly bonus amount by 50% (up to) and announced it on the telegram VIP channel. Basically, they aren't giving anything extra. This change will bring benefits for Stake actually. The rakeback amount was promised one for every VIP user, but there is no guarantee that everyone will receive 50% extra on the weekly bonus amount.

It could happen, there could be some giving free stuff that change time to time, we just need to understand it and accept it and move on. I get that it could be upsetting, but casinos needs to realize they are there for profit making, and the best option they will have is the way they will go.

So, if dropping one thing 50%, and increasing another 50% gives them a better return, then it would definitely be the path for them, why not pick the most profitable thing? They probably calculate how many people would leave if they do such a thing, and realized that it wouldn't be really that much of importance, and went with it, and we as gamblers need to accept that.

It is a life changer winning for most of us but it might be just a normal winning for the player.
Betting $50 per spins in slot games means that the player is someone who have decent amount of starting bankroll.
We do not know how many thousands spins he needs before he hit that max multiplier in Starlight Princess.
What we can hope is that this winning is still profitable for him, as it is also impossible that the winning is still less than what he has lost before.

Last 2 weeks ago, while they make this announcement on telegram announcement they also already put a bonus on the weekly claim. Even my self got 33$ while my waggering amount is not really big.

How much extra amount you have received actually? I think I had received a little extra amount on the first week as I lost a deposit during then. Exactly. Winning 243.000$ is not bad at all (I would take it with pleasure lol  ), but maybe peanuts for the winner. If you have a base bet of 50$/spin, than you must have a huge bankroll or it would be depleted super fast. His base bet is super high for me, but not as high as some crazy high rollers who bet 500 or 1000$ per spin. Maybe that is the next step for this player.

Even big casinos like stake get the same attack which actually does not need to doubt its performance but the attacker keeps trying

If the casino has a good defense, the attack will not last long because it will be able to be held back by the protection that is in the casino. The attacks are usually targeted at one or two casinos simultaneously so the two casinos will experience temporary disruption. But if the attack is aimed at a large site and has good protection, it will not interfere with the site.

The site is working fine at my end.  I don't have any trouble whatsoever when I access the stake site yesterday.  However, I read on other threads that users also have problems accessing their respective Casino sites due to the DDOS attack.
