Hi everyone! First - compliments for the abundance of valuable information on here!

My company is considering our own ICO. Our project is a software for the healthcare industry, which isn't only needed - it is already demanded. We have developed a working (even sellable) prototype.

As you know, however, every software product (especially when SaaS) is a work in progress. So is ours. It has the absolute potential to become THE software of choice for many institutions, but there's a lot more work to be done. This is why we're thinking of an ICO.

After carefully reviewing the possible scenarios we've narrowed it down to a though that we'd like your opinion on. What do you think about a buyback scheme, where a percentage of the company's profit goes for buying back the coins issued for the ICO?

Looking forward to your comments Smiley

There's several things like that and most of them have legal issues. Think some exchanges also don't like listing anything that pays dividends

Thank you for your input - you've got a point. There are actually quote some ICOs and projects based on this model and there would indeed be a legal issue if we were to open the ICO for US citizens. If we don't, however, there may never be a regulation here in Europe. Even if the EU gets to that, it will probably take them forever...

Thank you. This is exactly what we've been thinking. This ends up sounding similar to taking a loan from the community while we're growing the software and then returning it once our profit grows.

Its like stocks.
Very much similar to what betking is doing, though very different venture.
You need to at least prove your innovation and you can easily get funded for your startup
