Everyone of us might be gone then but bitcoin survives.

True, bitcoin expands, and it stores so much forum users nowadays, it may not shocked me if someday it will merge with other currency or even in paper money to increase it own value, people will have extra income, and someday I hope that bitcoin will still be decentralized for its own sake that government has no right to get some credentials from here, Banning in each every country of bitcoin must be banned well , bitxoin is useful we should all be thankful for that and not to abused it.

Yes bitcoin will be exists after hundred years even better and bigger may be one sathoshi will value more than fiat currency like dollar or any currency.

It might survive that long but it still depends on how bitcoin was used. If it is put into good use. There is also some downside by using bitcoin but I really hope everyone would benefit this and put this to good use so it can last that long.

Yes, after witnessing how smoothly bitcoin ecosystem has implemented segwit last week, I am sure in future, we are going to see, bitcoin will make itself to be versatile enough to conquer this world by providing all economy related services. When bitcoin is capable of updating as per requirements and challenges, why we need to doubt about its survival.

Not just for another 100 years, we can expect bitcoin to stay with us for millenniums. Bitcoin may not stay for ever with same specifications how it is today, but the core concepts will sustain for ever.

I would like to witness that. Also I would like to witness the last Bitcoin be mined. However, we are all gone by then, right?

I think that Bitcoin will still exist by then. We would like that, not for us but for the next generation and the generation after that. Some might be investing in Bitcoin for their child/ren now, so they are hoping for this.

That is the future. We can only predict, but we can not predict what will happen. But I still believe in Bitcoin, maybe because more and more countries accept Bitcoin, it has the potential to grow. So, 100 years from now, maybe Bitcoin will still exist

I think it will still exist. Bitcoin is very developed, and nothing prevents it. Unless there is a better alternative location of bitcoin.

I am not sure, neither anybody can. But I think it will be still there as transaction medium or option and more as currency rather than as an investment option. Because the price might get stable and the investment return might get reduced. Its just a perception, and a valid possibility, but no guarantee it will happen.

I probably feel that Bitcoin can't die , let it be 100 years or 200 . Well we might not be alive to check that but the world is turning digital and Bitcoin is an online currency so it would be considered as a mode of payment if something like that happens. And once it will be considered then it will become immortal , still people will prefer fiats over Bitcoin

Don't know what will happen in 100 years. Technologies grows so fast this days so it is almost impossible to predict. Maybe quantum computing or post quantum crypto system will strat.May be  btc can be valueless or may be precious.

World in 100 years from now will be more dependent from technology and internet than now. Even now it is higly dependent on internet. Cryptocurrencies are definitely the future of economy. BTC in first place. Demand for it is rising as more people start to buy and use it so price is higher. Every few years you can mine less BTC per 12 minutes. So it is giving bigger and bigger value to BTC. And after 100 years it will become standard currency.

As the entire digital currency functioning is based on predictive market we can just predict the upcoming years growth, but the same is not gonna happen. With time and user participation things will vary accordingly. With this in my bitcoin will survive for more than 100 years even after the 21million gets mined.

You really can’t tell if it will last till 100 Years and above, but l do hope and believe it will stay till then, though most of us won’t  be alive then. One thing you should know is that it’s not in the hands of the investors/users to say when it ends, but the developers determines and says what happens. They might decide that they’re done with this and split up tomorrow.
