Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ?

As source code/blockchain/technology? Yes. As long as at least one (hard) drive remains.

As payment system? No freakin' way. Technology growth speed is just increasing, one system is replaced by another within couple of years. Currently even some alts have better technology and wider usage. What about even next year? Simply no way.

As digital savings? Can be. That's something about masses want. They are not so predictable, so only time will give answer.

For example, tape recorders are still survived. But who actually cares?

no need to think about it because we will not live another 100 years
but if you can argue, I think bitcoin will still be received as now not only 100 years can even 1000 years
this is the legacy of us, the currency of the future for the world

yes i am supporter of bitcoin but its true as some new thing will appears people will choose it and it will change the scenario of market as bitcoin done with fiat, so in my personal opinion its not end off creation so we should not say it will sustain or will go away its just too early to say that .

I don't think that bitcoin will survive in 100 years. Technologies are developing and, already today there are better crypto currencies than bitcoin, for example, by the speed of transactions.
In 100 years, the market will dominate the new currency, and this's not bitcoin

Yes, seems so. Since its inception in 2009, Bitcoin is going upwards and currently seeing an all time high. This is evident how popular is Bitcoin.
Considering its popularity, price graph and technology, I feel it will survive for long. May be most of us will not live by the time.

I think 100 years is too long and hard to predict so I have to say bitcoin will not last up to 100 years, the thing that can make bitcoin can last up to 100 years is a country that legalize bitcoin same like fiat.

I have some same opinions like yours. Yes this is hard to predict the thing that will be happening after 100 years. Yes if you are talking about the coming near future like 5-10 years then yes bitcoins will be blasting the whole world with a new digital product that can change the whole scenario of the world economics. But 100 years are more and you can even predict about this.

I still work in bitcoin society. Hopefully not only 100 years because bitcoin can really help many peoples especially those persons who looking for job.therefore it'll be the world's reserve currency forever as it gives everyone the chance at expressing value on a censorship-resistant global network.

I am not even sure whether humanity will survive for that long. My guess is that Bitcoin is gong to survive for another 10-20 years, before another form of payment replaces it. But by that time, we may achieve new peaks, such as $100,000 per coin or $250,000 per coin.

in 100 years, the world will be changed dramatically, and it is not about bitcoin it is about evolution. If man will invent new way of payment, wich will be better then money, bitcoin and etc. it might replace all the existing currencies.
