Does anyone know when they plan on doing this? They've been really slow lately and need to upgrade their site. I heard it will be sometime soon but I don't know when. I don't get why they signed up for a shared hosting plan in the first place... what were they thinking?
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

I heard they planned to move off of host gator soon, but their sister had hacked the hotmail they had the password in so they have to wait until they can steal her ipod to get it back.

I still see this in their whois, so they haven't left yet. They won't become a world-class website until they can get their very own server. I know they are expensive though, like hundreds of dollars.

I heard something like this too, but they got the password through Myspace I think because she didn't like her picture on their Myspace and also the ipod deal but yeah pretty much. It hopefully won't be a long delay, I know most of them are still in school so when they have less homework.

Which whois is showing that?

  Domain servers in listed order:
      NS75.DOMAINCONTROL.COM
      NS76.DOMAINCONTROL.COM

Anyway, that's just DNS, and doesn't really affect the site unless it's horribly unreliable... and you have to work hard to make DNS unreliable.

The IP 46.21.104.237 is owned by glesys. The website has been hosted their since the MtGox news, as I checked before.

One thing that came to mind is why they used "domainsbyproxy" for their domain, but yet post full names and profile on forums. :/ Confusing.

The website has been since the "MtGox News" awfully slow, im get to get past login screen. Too slow that I close it.

Good question. If you don't use domainsbyproxy you do get all sorts of annoying spam and scams, including printed-and-mailed fake invoices from scammers, but I can't imagine that was enough of a reason for them to do it.

hahaha. I made up this rumour as a joke I can't believe it caught on.

I always assumed trolls had some kind of secret ability to detect other trolls. Kind of like an Internet version of gaydar. I'm disappointed, lardycake.
