Lot of peopl sitting at home in front of their computers and scrolling through the forum. They spend much more time on that forum and yes they're more likely to buy some tokens and go on more active on the trades. My point of view.

I don't think that holidays have any major impact on ICOs. What DOES have an impact is the fact that there are too many projects running an ICO right now which makes it difficult for people to check them all - and I guess this is the reason why ICOs get prolonged now, to give to the investors more time to find them.
