After the new record of BTC price I'm really confused, It increased about $1k in less than 1 month which seems suspicious.
I'm thinking of investing some money on BTC and hold them for at least 3 years or more.

You did a good thing by asking such a question to at least get things clarified. Yes, the price rose up to 4.3k SD, and that’s due to lots of people are discovering bitcoin and getting into it as soon as possible, so they won’t miss such a great opportunity. So I would say “YES”, invest your money. I can assure you that your investment is very safe. You’re not going to lose it, rather it will increase.

Yes, I think keeping them is good. As compared to the year in which you started to participate compared to the present, the bitcoin increased a lot. You can see that from the fact. It has risen drastically. And I guess it will continue to increase in the years to come.

The future will be 50K the Bitcoin... Near term target is $5000 which should be arrived soon.

Talking about that we are already reached 4.1K USD price. The 50K however seems very vague at this point. I know it will increase but to push the bitcoin to 50K value it will need more crowd to be gathered to invest into it. Current popularity of the bitcoin is not enough for the bitcoin to go ahead of 10K value. With current investors or number of fan base the investment volume is limited and it does not generate volume then how can it push itself further.


I myself agree on the fact that bitcoin rely on development in blockchain and development needs large amount of revenue to be generated with the help of investors like you and me. Once that will increase we are good to go to 50K valuation per BTC.

Higher the price, higher the number of interested people and therefore investors and for something that started pretty underground, bitcoin, there will and is a time to pass until bitcoin get's up to speed and starts attracting more and more people to invest. My dad is the prime example. He had no clue what bitcoin is, cme one night to my room for a smoke and he saw that I was on this forum so he asked what  I was doing and now, after a few months, he wants to invest in it. Give it some time, it's still relatively new, we'll get to that price in a few years for sure.

Holding is good, but how to make your amount holding can increasing up with the value important than just wait it reach to your target in future.
So, depends every period on market we will have strategy for it.

I believe because not many people know much about bitcoin except to buy and increase money, it will go up for a bit.
When people start realizing the high fees and how slow it is, then perhaps an alt coin will dethrone it.

After all any alt coin can perform the same functions but faster. It may take a few years for it to be dethroned.

Holding BTC for long term it's a real safe investment. 1000% return since Jan-2015 and if you learn to trade, you can win a bit more. Bitcoin price are waking people's interest and that interest will send BTC to the moon!

I think investing in bitcoin is a good idea and if you invest in bitcoin few years ago I think now you could become rich or millionaire. In addition to that, many people already hold their bitcoin because there is a possibility that the price of bitcoin will increase in the future and I think bitcoin has a good future.

For me, yes it's a good idea to invest in bitcoin and there's nothing suspicious about the $1 increase in just a month. Why? It even started with no value at all then goes up to only $0.003 after more or less 2 years and it's continuously going up through the years. From $0.003 it is now $4k+, i do believe it's possible to reach $10k after several years especially now that many establishment were using it as well.

More investors will jump in once it hits $5000, and even more will invest once it reaches $10,000.
With a limited 21,000,0000 BTC and above 50% dominance, the price has nowhere to go but upwards.

This price rise is actually normal for Bitcoin if you look in the past since 2010 there has always been such exponential rises, it comes with the territory. With that said, this does not happen very often so it would be wise that we understand the price is going to fall sometime when the bubble bursts... it is inevitable. I think Bitcoin will never again go below $1,000 and next time we see a rise like this it will go to $30,000 within 5 years.

Increase in the prices of bitcoin by $1k in just one month shouldn't be looked at as something suspicious instead it's a sign of bitcoins becoming increasingly popular among masses then it was before. After August 1 event bitcoin has strengthened more and investors have shown their confidence in it and have decided to buy more to hold it for long term. Nothing can be predicted with 100% accuracy but if we go by the past bitcoin price movements I'm sure it would be a wise decision to buy bitcoin now and hold it for long, it's definitely going to be profitable.

Yes, if anyone thinks it’s a good time.for them to invest into Bitcoin they should invest. I remember when bitcoin was sold for $250, people were saying “no it’s not a good time to invest, wait till it’s down to $150”, but the price went up to $300, they kept saying we will wait till it’s down, then it also went up to $500, they kept saying the same till it reached $3000.

Now it’s $4000, they are also saying wait till it goes down to $2000. And price is still going up, very soon it will be $5000, and they will tell you to wait for it to go back to $4000. Lol, people are crazy. I say invest whenever you think is alright for you to do so.

good advises, I appreciate this effort, and yes you are right bitcoin prices will continue to rise, some people say that it will not going to happen that prices rising forever, but I say it is the matter of time and condition of global market, if markets work properly with the huge prices of bitcoin then it continue increasing and vice versa.
