at 50k, btc will have a market cap in the hundreds of billions. That's a pretty big leap (USD is in trillions), but I guess it is possible eventually.

The total cap is currently at ~ $135 billion. The Nasdaq got to $5.4 trillion in 1999. Plenty of room left for growth  |

NASDAQ market cap is not that related to a currency, but ok.
That's like comparing the number of Euros in circulation to the value of all public companies in Europe.
But I agree there is still room to grow.

January 2017, Bitcoin price is only 1000usd. Now its only August but we are almost 5000usd.
And there is no doubt. Bitcoin will reach $10k next year. And the 50k mark can be reach within 3 to 4yrs from now.

I'm also hoping in that price because when the days are past they maybe attract more investors to invest in bitcoin that makes the price rapidly moving up and can cause a profit for everyone |

I believe that bitcoin can hit $5000 and maybe $10,000, but $50,000 is too impossible to believe, maybe when it is already happening, that's the time that I will believe it. But as like you have said, patience is the key.  believe believe believe, No that is not possible, as predictions 2 years ago, it's really happening now, wow be patient to a much higher increase Cheers  Being patient is really the key to believe but at the same time we need to save our bitcoin so it will also increase, so we gain profit for waiting. It is just like an investment. |

Bitcoin can reach 5k, may be 10k in few months, but to reach 50k that's need may years to happen, it is not so easy. But in this case it will be the happiest day for many Bitcoin's holders.

You better believe it folks Patience is the key. Your right mate, Patience is the only key, but even it reach 5000$ I will still hold my bitcoin BTC until next year comes. Because I do believed to my informer that by 2018 bitcoin will become 13000$ or more. And when it happen I sell the 30% of my bitcoin holdings for sure, can wait for that day. |

I don't know why I have a feeling that bitcoin will fall down to 3000$ soon.So that, I already withdrawn my bitcoin.I think this, because everyone is selling their bitcoin for it's high price.So,I guess bitcoins price will be down certainly.

Yeah, that bothers me too. I remember when the BTC reach $400. At that time I don't believe it will reach $1000. But now it becomes $4K, wow. For the 10K and 50K, I don't know man. |

Im more worried about the value being split between the multiple chains. I think bitcoin is the best store of value around, but it is also very vulnerable to attack when the community is split and the mining power switches from chain to chain to get profitability.

have some faith and be always positive. nobody be sure but im really positive $5k per bitcoin are coming soon. so watch bitcoin closely. or you will be missed the train to the financial freedom.
im working hard now to hold as many bitcoin i had in my wallet. to gain wealth. be patience and keep calm. trust at your instinct.
