It's pretty clear that 90% or more of people in crypto are just idiot speculators looking to make a quick buck, and have no actual care about that long term potential and use cases for the coin. They just blindly follow the herd straight off the cliff hoping they'll get rich... (Which I'm fine with if there is actual profit to be made.........but there was never even a pump, why would you sell Zoin at such a Loss? In my opinion once it got under a dollar it was stupid to dump  it. I'm hoping the same won't happen to NIX.

It's also pretty clear that the ZOI/NIX, despite being very talented and capable as Developers..............they absolutely SUCK at marketing their product, there should have been way more hype and attention from the crypo-community. But its still like nobody's even heard of this thing. This should have been the biggest story in crypto today but nothing. Undecided

Didn't the NIX devs say the only way to get nix officially was to buy zoin and keep it in your wallet? So how the hell are people gonna buy it who never had zoin. I'm confused cause they said they will be announcing exchanges with NiX. If you can buy NIX with cash or btc what the whole point of this Snapshot BS.
selling for .60 cents down .40 only ppl with free coins or premine do that

Since you are a newbee I will explain to you how things work down here in coin hell.

In fact it is a swap from ZOI to NIX which was announced weeks before the snapshoot. No surprise. Enought time to exit at 2,20 or 2,40. Before the snapshoot most people think like this: okay, the price is 100 cent (for example), I will take NIX, but sell ZOI after the snapshoot. This means, after the snapshoot the price will drop to 50 cent for example, because there are more seller than buyer. But you have the right to claim NIX worth 50 cent.

50 + 50 = 100

ZOI has dropped 50%, looks bad, but you lost maybe nothing because you got the right to claim NIX at a later time. If NIX is worth 30 later on, you lost money. If NIX is valued 60, you made a good deal.

Understand ?

Think.

lol nix could be worth peanuts who knows if 50 + 50 = 100 or 50 lol, its not even real yet.  the issue is there was never even a small zoin pump which shows interesrt in nix is near zero

When I bought ETC for Calisto fork, the price went down, and it's still too low. I get nothing of that fork. And this fork is very "promising", as we see such price drop to the hell.  Cry

Was sad to wake up and see the huge sell off.

Not sure why it was so drastic. By the time most people trasferred from the core wallet the price must have been super low.

Ahh well. I'm keeping my little zoinies in the core wallet for the time being. Fuck selling at -70%  Wink

The dump is very simple to explain

It is a usual post-snapshot dump of panic sellers and those who only bought ZOI in order to get NIX. The dump was hard and sudden due to the snapshot block and the market just needs time to process it, price will recover eventually.

Dont forget that the price of ZOI before the snapshot announcement was between 0.3 - 0.9 as well (early april). True ZOI holders could only have made money from this, especially since they now get to claim NIX.

Lets go NIX and ZOI!

Such a nasty dump. At what price do you think it will stabilize and start to recover?

In other words what is the true worth of Zoin? 3000? 4000? Now at 4700.

Looks like it has stabilised at around 4500,  hopefully it might move back to around 6000/7000 and settle there till some clarity emerges about the future plans.

It's been awhile since I looked at Zoin again so I apologize if this has been answered before. Are Zoin developers moving to NIX? Is Zoin going to be developed further? If yes, then why do we need two coins?
