I've been using coinbase and cex.io recently. They have too much of a fee in my opinion. Anyone use gdax, or what does everyone use?

I don't do any trading at all when it comes to fiat, so I stick to what I know, that's Poloniex. I've had my Polo account for a while, I never had any problems withdrawing money or depositing it. They don't ask you for any dumb verification process where they ask you for your personal details like on Bittrex.

Poloniex is good for some alt speculation, but the coins get there way too late. I will try getting on Bittrex, unfortunately I don't see any other exchange but Bittrex that has rarer coins with good volume. The rest of exchange have tiny volume.

I used to be a lot on Poloniex, but moved away two months ago. It started to feel a bit wobbly at times. Since then I have moved to Bittrex and now and then Waves Dex and Cryptopia depending on the coins.

I am trading on bittrex because there is a lot of new coins after ICO stage.. Also used to be polo, but... I think now it's pretty dangerous to use it (news and roumors are telling a lot of things...)

I buy my Bitcoins on Coinbase ;
I do tradding on Bittrex

And I started, I started a month ago and I must say that these two platforms are very easy to use.
Avoid bank card, fees are often more expensive.

Indeed Coibase has very high fees. Gdax is a bit better but IMO people leaving in the Eurozone should show preference to Kraken. They're super fast at honoring EUR sepa withdrawals and it's also very cheap. The Rock Trading are also nice, the withdrawal fee is a bit higher but sometimes prices in there are slightly better so it's better value for money with larger orders. Use Kraken with BitGO wallet for instant deposits.

I also left poloniex. They have technical issues and I don't trust them after btc-e money laundering. I started to use bittrex and kraken. I don't think liqui exchange is a good one. It's very basic too. Bittrex became the best option.

There are many exchanges out there. Personally I use these 3 exchanges, Bittrex, Poloniex, and c-cex.io and fees are not much here in my opinion. They are much easier to use when it comes to buying altcoins but it would be hard if your money is from fiat so just bear with coinbase for buying bitcoin from fiat. I have never used gdax, the one you mentioned so I can't suggest it.

Does anyone try openledger.io or the waves platform?
I think they are amazingly comfortable with crypto and fiat as well.
I used to trade on cryptopia, yobit and tradesatoshi but each one has its own restrictions either by verification process "know your customer" or by the high cost fees.
I am also a ranked member in localbitcoin which is a great platform but always having a lot of restrictions and prices are so volatile.
BTW, never evaluate an experience in any exchange site when you are looking to trade a specific crypto hold by only one or two platforms; hitbtc.com is a nice place but i see not anybody trust it (don't know why).

My platforms of choice for trading are Bittrex and Cryptopia, especially the latter. Cryptopia gives traders access to micro market cap coins that are available no where else except Yobit, but I would prefer to stay with exchanges domiciled in the USA or former British colonies such as Canada or New Zealand. I feel the rule of law is more likely to be followed in these countries and there is less likelihood of skulduggery.

I successfully used a small Canadian platform called tux exchange. Most of their liquidity is in Pepecash.

Recently many traders were caught with funds in btc-e and I don't believe they have received their funds back.

One more point, be very wary of leaving large amounts of coins at exchanges, since you will not have the private keys of your coins under your control.

I really enjoy my experience on Bitfinex but they've recently announced they will no longer support US accounts, so I have to find a new home to trade.  I have accounts at Bittrex, Poloniex, Liqui, and NovaExchange and visually I prefer Poloniex, but like others have said their recent outages have me spooked.  I'm likely going to move my coins to Bittrex and wallets when I ready to shut down my Bitfinex account.  I have some coins locked up in margin lending but when I get them back that's where I'll move.  I wish Bittrex did margin lending but it doesn't look like it's on their radar.

Mostly liqui and cryptopia, I like liqui but they should focus on front end development. As for cryptopia, I think it is one of the legend exchanges and also subject to the laws of new zealand.

Since having withdrawal problem on poloniex. Currently i only use bittrex to do altcoin exchange. Trading volume is my main reference in choosing an exchange. Because that way, it means a popular exchange and used by many people.

Well Cryptsy was in the United States but no-one got their coins back because the owner wiped the servers and then scarpered to a country without extradition.

Mintpal was in the UK, and while the admin who stole the coins, Ryan Kennedy, was successfully prosecuted and jailed, money hasn't been returned to users because he spent the lot.

I've been using coinbase and cex.io recently. They have too much of a fee in my opinion. Anyone use gdax, or what does everyone use?

i like to use bittrex wallet it is secure and easy to use. but polonix had more disadvantages so don't use it. once you have to check and use this type of wallet. generally most of the people like to use this wallets because bittrex features are really amazing. since having withdraw problem and security problem in polonix but in the bittrex has no like that problems. so try to use maximum bittrex site good for usage.

I use a variety of exchangers where my coins can be traded, if there are several options I will choose which has the largest trading volume. I think every exchanger has its own deficiencies and advantages, if we use it properly and carefully everything will be fine

I didn't use any exchange lately but when I did i used bitrex, liqui, cryptopia, yobit and poloniex.
And i tried couple of times etherdelta but i don't like it because we have to pay fee every time.
