You'll have to PM Theymos or another admin to unlock it probably.
Also, if you own an address relating to that account, you may need to sign it to proove ownership.

It's a newbie account, and the address that you posted is not that old... Why not just use this account than retrieving that 2014 account with only one post from the past?

If you want to retrieve it, PM Theymos or Cyrus with a signed message from this address - 1AYmiF8Bnrsc9wXWXzEKbyRyikWLibRGor that you posted last June 28, and hope that they consider it as a proof of ownership...

I figured the 2014 account is better than starting again from 2017. I looked at signing the btc address but there is no option for signed messages 

Is there a less busy admin / moderator that can unlock accounts or do i need to bother the site admins for this?

Hopefully as a newbie account they won't consider it dangerous to unlock and just help me, if it was legendary then i'm sure they would require lots of checking!

no, its just theymos and Cyrus, youll need to pm one of them like in the post i linked.

Don't waste your time trying to get your old account unlocked, it most likely will not happen.

No, what wallet service are you using?
Is it a software wallet or an online wallet? Can you get access to the private keys?

It's an online wallet. There is the wallet address, a QR code, and an option to add a label.

If the account isn't hacked, all they'd need to do is unlock it without changing the password or email address?Seems crazy that if we don't use our account for a while then it becomes unusable.
