What happened: Btctalk user is producing fake pageviews count for their ICO using software capable of generating thousands of pageviews per hour.

Scammer's profile links: Check and Check

Reference links:

Pageviews count roughly 90 minutes back: 136K
Pageviews count roughly 70 minutes back: 142K
Pageviews count roughly 35 minutes back: 143K
Pageviews count as of now (UTC 7:33 PM): 149K

Additional notes: Fake traffic is coming from an automated link-clicking software, bots. To check how pageviews count changes over time: Check. Needs to be escalated to admins.

Sparksi keeps posting the same shit over and over, obviously an attempt to bump the thread against the rules.   Pretty obvious scam right there, plus all the noob accounts.  Typical.

Nice catch!
I don't know how relevant are bitcointalk's views but definitely those seem like link building with the bots. The account sparksi definitely needs a ban and the thread be moved -> trashcan.
The ICO is a scam as well,no point in keeping the thread alive .

If I understand correctly, you are saying that the ICO is using a bot to generate a lot of pageviews in hopes to fake *attention*? Seems like a high risk "ICO" worthy of tagging. The account in question even has:

Not just the views, they even have a bot account which is posting multiple times in a same day that is bumping the thread.Account : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=389758
Definitely a high risk ICO if their only goal is to keep the thread on top with fake views and bots.

Oops, missed the alt account link. I'm quite used to the right format of posting, and with the huge backlog of work to do each accusation takes more time if posted differently. Anyways, tagged that one as well.
