BCC Cash was dropping and it is now like to seek new higher base price,
I am not really accumulating it now,
it may be a good idea to buy it and HODL.

I am looking for more update, good thread

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

I'm holding BCH mainly because I am worried about a conspiracy theory I read a few weeks ago which seems plausible, especially now watching some of these Chinese miners mining BCH at a loss.  Long story short, there are some big BTC holders and Chinese miners that want to try to crush BTC and replace it with BCH.  My 1 BCH is my insurance policy, should that happen later this year.  It sux, because I'd love to dump my BCH now at a profit.

I did not expected that  cash was gonna recover and go to $700 each at the moment, i am so surprised about that, i only expected it to be dumped to $200 at least.
but i see it as a speculate coin, i dont find any features in  cash if i have to be honest, it was only "free money" for those who were holding s.
But lets see how it will keep going, i hope it reachs a higher price, but i have dumped mine at $800
i will not expect any thing from bcc to dump to $200. i think this will not happen in the near future and the price is quite stable and it flows between $500 to $700 and not drop down from $500 and up from $700.
i hope that you are saying will happen and price dump upto $200 and this will be the perfect oppurtunity for the buyers to invest and fill their bags.

so far there is nothing going on so there is no reason to even think about bitcoin cash. but also it is still alive, so you have to keep an eye out for things that can help its pump again.

of course with bitcoin there will always be drama at some point. there can be another spam attack wave. or in a couple of months the drama of SegWit2x hard fork which will most probably help the pump of Bitcoin Cash and possibly even a couple of other altcoins like Dash and ETH.

and the pump of small coins are always so much better. they give the best profit.

Who is actually using it to buy and sell things?

The silence in response to this question is deafening. Nobody is using it as an actual currency! It is 100% speculative.

I would ask who is actually BUYING it. Millions are coming in everyday, it's not reasonable thinking they are all noobs or belivers. Fake buying pressure is astonishing.

I wouldn't ask myself that. I would ask myself whether it has fundamental solidity and if there is valid reasoning for believing BCH has a future, which it does not. Without any merchant adoption this coin is dead in the water.

The price movement of 3 pumps and 3 sinks leads me to believe it is indeed a massive pump job, like I said, the biggest we've eve seen.

Don't worry I'll return to this thread to rub it in your face when the price sinks below $100 in a matter of months.

My English could be not so good, somehow I think we miscommunicated: I said that some FAKE buying pressure is coming from somewhere, I think this is fake because I can't imagine there are so many noobs (newcomers who want to buy bcc to hold them and hope for the best) or believers (people that can't understand that bcc is a much more inelegant solution than segwit for many reasons). I'm even surprised that so many people are still holding them, I dumped my few bcc on viabtc using futures even before they come on the market. Cannot explain better than that.

I understand what you mean now. I think whoever is buying it doesn't really understand what they're doing. Not the first time its happened I suppose.

1.1 billion dollars volume in the last 24h. As far as I can remember, there wasn't any other altcoin who was pumped so much from the start. I doubt they are all newbies who don't understand what they are doing, there is some heavy manipulation going on. Still, I think we will see it crashing sub 1 bitcent after november

It could gain some value together with btc. Since miners are using their hashpower to mine it, it does have a certain value currently

There are some really rich whale pumping it then. I do not think the volume is organic since very few people believe in bch and maybe less who will be willing to spend cash to buy it. Some of the hodlers are those who got it free.

I think bitcoin cash is speculation only because there is no real product. They are not offering anything that you can't already have elsewhere.
But speculation can make price go up and down. The question is one day will it fall and continue falling until it hits $0 ?

Some companies are accepting the Bitcoin Cash now. Bitstamp will start trading Bitcoin Cash by end of this month.

I think the price is going to plummet around the time the next fork happens in November. I haven't met anyone that actually uses this coin, and the price is basically pure speculation

I do not believe in the bright future of Bitcoin Cash. This altcoyin received a high starting rate when on August 1 it separated from bitcoin. However, its rate is artificially inflated, has no declared price, and therefore its rate will continue to fall, as it fell even before the general fall of the currency rate.

I think the price will become higher soon. As someone still holding in bccand yes it needs time to grow up since this is new. Well let see at what price bcc will hit in the exchange.

Apologies, I'm not up to speed on the latest BCH stats. What's currently the avrg confirmation time and transaction cost? That should give an idea if BCH can distinguish itself from BTC and gain bigger real world adoption. Early-mid October should def be interesting for both BCH and BTC.
