There are alwyas those who simply need the money to pay some bills.
And then there is another group of people who see small decreases in price, get panic and sell.
The second mistake is usually made when you are new to bitcoin.
But with some time you get used to the changes and you get the ability to sit the decreses out.

  It's me!!!

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Why sell now, don't like money?  You will not feel too smart when you realize you could wait a few days and he $3,000 more for it.

People need to spend, not everybody is in it to make a profit. A lot of wages are paid in bitcoins, for example - signature campaigns. Investors will hold for as long as they can resist, and don't forget that some folks bought their coins dirt cheap.

There is no guarantee that it will climb to $8000. So you can't blame those who are selling the coins now. There can be numerous reasons for selling Bitcoins. Some people may be doing partial profit booking, after purchasing the coins for $1,800 in July. Others may be facing financial difficulties and so may be forced in to selling their coins.

In recently, the rumor and risk about forks can't make the mentality of trader on market fearing like in past time, because we also know after forks will helps Bitcoin improve it's system and running better than old version. Even this is good reason make many people want buy Bitcoin.

Not everyone is convinced it will be 5000-8000 - presumably the people who aren't are the ones doing the selling!

People will buy and sell at different points. If you bought cheap you could sell some now and make huge profit, and maybe buy back in later if price drops. But if you bought at ATH then now would not be the right time to sell. Also if you need the money to pay for something, you might cash some out.
