Let's not over-hype the situation at the moment and be a bit realistic for a while. We have never seen a sustained growth for

such a long period and this is what we want. Slow growth over a longer period, will draw more investors than a highly

volatile dump and spike scenario. People should not invest more than what they can afford to lose or willing to wait for the

next "spike" and still be liquid enough to survive.

if you're in here or trading Bitcoin around last 2013ish and early 2014ish you should understand what i said.
back then many people keep talking about it,yeah similiar to your own statement.
but after a month or around that time,a huge dump happened.
be aware about this,do not to over hype because who knows what will happen in the future ?
indeed Bitcoin price will always increasing,but it doesn't mean Bitcoin price will never goes down.

We're on rally because of segwit will be activated, I guess.
The question is; when it will gonna stop? reach the highest rate and fall down due to  people cash out, massively.
I'm not sure about this, but most news tell us if bitcoin could reach certain price, and many investors could join, cause huge influx of money into bitcoin. I expect bitcoin reach $5000 until November before get corrected because segwit2x chain split.

yup,you are absolutely right, we do get excited very easily. Because of this kind of Hype people buy when price is high and sell when the price is low. we should trade carefully not emotionally .

If people buy in the expectation that their asset will only ever grow exponentially, they will be absolutely terrified once it starts dropping.  Gold was hugely hyped up in 2011 and, surprisingly enough, the price has fell since then because when everyone is really bullish, it can't stay that way forever.

Even with SegWit, I would not have suggested buying since around $1000.  Even if you look at a logarithmic trend line right now we're way above it.

I used to say any price under $1k is good entry point and than same for under $2k, $3k and $4k. Now I think any price under $5k is good buy point because price can easily go $5000+ within this month or next month.

Read around here in late 2013. Of course things are radically different since then, but human nature isn't.

In my experience when you read 'we will never see x price again' x price comes back a few hours later and then a few weeks later people are pining for it.

The earlier we all understand that it might not continue like this the better and my concerns is for someone who because of the current scenario decide to put more than what he can afford, then I feel pity for such individual in that in as much that we are happy about the trend of events, we should also not be unmindful of the uncertainties that abound in this our crypto space.

Well we don't know what will be happen in the future. but this time i think this is different from other years ..
But the price right now is really huge compare to last few weeks ago and i am thinking that the price can be crash soon if there are still a whales are holding lots of bitcoin they can sell more bitcoin soon that can affect almost all bitcoin users and start panic to sell ..
Since we are still not experience some exchange site to be down the same as what happen every year like MT.gox if you remember
or other exchange site was crash every year but right now until now trading sites are still active..

So maybe this time $4k value is the lowest or cheap price but its not a good idea for now to buy because its risky but we know the price of bitcoin is always increasing if you have a patience you can buy but you need to be patience and if the price was decrease or crash just buy bitcoin because you are buying a cheap bitcoin and wait for a long time to sell them in the right time ..
So this is still not the last chance buying cheap bitcoin and i think we will experience of down for sure.. not a large drop but i think a little bit..

I've started to see the occasional mention of taking out bank loans here and there. That's definitely not a reassuring sign.

Anyone who's relatively new here should read through the late 2013 period on this forum. It's all easily accessible. I'm not sure there are that many parallels, a great deal has moved further on, but that brash overconfidence might well return. 10k was in the bag for 2014. Until it wasn't.

Aside from the fact that people have had enough chances to buy their coins at far lower levels than we are currently seeing, there will definitely be another time to buy at $3xxx levels (perhaps even lower, who knows). Current increase is largerly coming from the speculation and hype around the activation of Segwit. When things cool down and Segwit has been activated, there will be a correction taking the price down again. In that regard, it's pointless to say that this might be the last chance to buy, because it definitely isn't - especially when you look at things from a short term perspective.

No need to exagerate the situation. Bitcoin will be surely worth a lot more in the future, but I do not think this is the rise for all, and that we will never get, even though if it seems very possible.

you are forgetting that from 2013 situation not only bitcoin matured but mainly trading crowd matured, there is very little panic sells, and if so, price jumps back very very quicly.

With traditional investors comming, this will mature even more, as they are not so scared by dips -> but they will be buying like crazy during dips = quick recoved.

The question is when. I'd only buy now if it was long-term. Otherwise it's foolish if in a few weeks you might only have to pay 2.5-3k after a correction.

Like you lot of them are now waiting for correction so that they can buy but i think it will move more 100 or 200 usd and then we can see a little correction but their wont be massive correction. and still $4300 price we have to see so dont jump on any conclusion very soon.

But i agree with you, it is a cheap price right now because in the coming time, bitcoin would be given us more profit. But it is guaranty that only big whales could buy bitcoin because if i want to buy bitcoin right now then my answer would be no.

I did still see $3976 as of now on preev.com and its still cheap.For me the cheap price to see again on between 2500 price and we would possibly see such thing when prices do make corrections then thats the time we should buy back again on cheaper price this is why we should really be attentive when that thing happens. We are still on the peak on bitcoins price and buying now would be somehow risky as i can see.
