I think it is not hardware for mining.
If it is, it is a very confidential one, or very old and useless yet.

I dont know what kind of hardware its on the photo, but if you want to start mining, you need to know what type of hardware you need , because without correct hardware you can only spend money in electricity.
Maybe you need to buy a asic miner

Thanks!
I just want to ask on where did you get those stuffs? I cant see that this thing is possible on having a mining operation and i cant still consider is as an asic miner. Its just like a set of panel and wondering how those things would work. Just want to know where did you get that? I would like just to tell you that you can mine bitcoin thru asic miners which are just really specialized just for it.

Thanks Zadicar for your interest.

I was able to find out those are ASIC Blades v2 (10.7 gh/s).. I got it from a friend of mine who wanted to throw it away. He and others was mining a while a go and this mine appears to be outdated which would explain why he did want to throw it away... Do you think I could still mine with this? Or learn a bit from this... Or mine other coins (SHA256)... ?

Also, it looks like the power supplied he has is not compatible with the 10-slot controller board... Any idea where I could get one (not too expensive if possible)...

Any help appreciated.

I'm afraid those are nothing more than a keepsake nowadays. Those blades where actually already obsolete by the end of 2013 / early 2014. Nice throwback though.

You could point it at one of the mining pools for lulz, but I don't think you'd even reach the minimum payout limit within a sensible timeframe. Punch the hashrate into a mining calculator and you'll see what I mean. According to cryptocompare you'd need a year to get to 0.001 BTC and even that is not accounting for increasing difficulty.

i dont think so that like that hardware are useable now and yet its old piece of craft and if your able it will work so slow because mining needs high performance

It loos like potentially a disassembled miner of some sort, although I don't know enough about computers or building them at least to be able to give a definitive answer.

Also, please change the title to "newbie", as it is currently misspelled. Thanks Wink

Has to be outdated hardware. Most modern miners put off a lot of heat and these boards don't even have heatsinks installed.

It's hard to tell from that image. Some of it looks pretty old. The Black Box on the bottom looks like either a network splitter, or USB hub. That in itself would have anything to do with mining but could be used in a mining setup. The printed circuit board and the one next to it look like they might have been from a pstn system.

They basically look like they're combining several of the same unit when they be RAM chips, gpus, or some other kind of board it's hard to tell. Maybe a closer image or more information off the boards themselves.
