Feels a bit like a kick in the you know where:). Still having trouble topping the r9390 I see.  Hardly worth the price increase.  Guess if your the type that needs the latest greatest thing then this seems right up your alley.  Having to take a pass.  Back to second hand market for me   Undecided

As in nature, all is ebb and tide, all is wave motion, so it seems that in all branches of industry, alternating currents - electric wave motion - will have the sway. ~Nikola Tesla~

I hope that this is not a final word.

How could a card with 5X TFLOPS and 2x power use be almost at the same level?

Got one Vega 64 card (one per f-king household), not sure if I even want it.
Maybe will use it anyway for a bit.

Greedy XFX plopped another $100 on the top of MSRP. $599.99 before tax (not even a limited edition), bastards.

This might cause RX 480/580 8gb to increase in price to $400 (minimum), RX 470/570 8gb to $350.

We will hope that something will change, software, drivers or something else.
Why was it necessary to talk about 60+ megahashes if after the first tests everyone knows what really is the performance. In my opinion it was just to attract attention.

How powersave has a better hashrate comparing to Turbo?

One thing that are not matching is the hashrate reported in the website and in the Image above, is 1080 TI better than the RX VEGA 64 or not yet?

And how much power does RX VEGA consume doing that 35 mh/s compared to a 1080Ti doing 32 mh/s?

Well let's hope miner optimization (looking at your claymore  Wink ) and either some bios changes or memory tweaks help...

I got 3 orders to go through today. Hopefully they all ship. A couple orders of my orders got cancelled due to the 1 per household limit.

Thankfully ebay prices are currently through the roof. If I get them in hand, I may dump them...

PC Gamer already got the Vega 64 to 40 MH/s right out of the box with just a memory overclock. Once the bios and miners are optimized it should get past 50 MH/s. eBay is a scammers paradise where any buyer can claim anything they want without having to prove anything and eBay is more than willing to go along with them at your expense.

I have an XFX Vega 64.  On claymore's Ethash2gb i'm getting 34.5 MH/s and with regular Ethash i'm getting 30.2 MH/s.   everything stock... can't seem to adjust anything.  I would like to turn the fan up but nothing so far will let me.   Stays at 81C @49% fan (2400rpm)
