Trading altcoin and holding bitcoin which one is more profitable?

Of course trading would be mor profitable if you do it the right way.
It is more like working for your money. You have to get some knowledge and experience first and do evaluation of the charts while trading.
That is all time consuming. If simple holding of bitcoins would be more profitable, we would not have any traders.

just wondering how you can calculate the more promising altcoyins, because lately you can see how some coins die not brought any benefit. Of course, if there is a promising project, it needs to be studied and then act in this way.

To my opinion active and proactive approach is always better than passive so trading would be the choice. But still the best option would be combination of these, so trading but both, Bitcoin and altcoin, and holding Bitcoin for a longer period of time. For me its both profitable it depends on the alt coin you will choose but before choosing you have a lot of things to consider before investing on alt coin study first the white paper and what is the project development of that particular coin if you feel that is has potential you can invest on it.
