Hi guys thanks for reading. I'm new to mining and currently own a msi gaming laptop and wondered if it's worth mining with or if I should invest in other hardware.
The laptop is a MSI GT72 2QE Dominator Pro, with the following specs:

CPU -  i7 5950HQ
GPU - GeForce GTX 980M
VRAM - GDDR5 16GB

Laptops are not ideal mining machines due to their manufacturing constraints, they overheat basically (AND are not meant for long term use, although, if you were to create a cooled system somehow, and would only expect a couple or few cents a day, then yeah, do it and let us know the results!

The easier option is to buy USB asics and have lots of them, I have seen up to 50 (at about 2gh/s each) daisy chained together, wonderful.

It won't give you anything at all as the others said and the electricity bill could suprise you so you should be carefull and stop your operation now.
