I think one channel that really should be added should be a channel where you are required to have a certain amount of BTC or certain amount of wagerred BTC to join.

Reason why is because there are too many newbies who like to spam the chat or post really childish comments or harass other members. I think if there was a so called "Pro chat room" then most mature and devoted Primedice gamblers which frequent it instead of the main chat.

If I recall I think there was something similar done with BTCe years ago, a private chat where only the whales could attend.

There should a minimum wager of 50BTC or 100BTC for the VIP chat room and it would be a good way to get rid of all the begging  , when it comes to begging there is no limit once your name hits the high rollers and everyone is including not just newbies as your PM will be flooded with friend request and complimentary messages and some will propose new ventures on how to earn profit  . I am sure these things happen even now, i am yet to play at stake, will explore that when i am in the mood.

this idea was implemented I think at Primedice or at least was considered
I think they didn't go through with it because VIP room will not be very popular and half deserted most of the time
Stake has enough tools for a player to get rid of annoying newbies or passive beggars , there is this /ignore function and you can also close your pm for newbs
I agree that spam in general chat can be extremely annoying , but what do you expect when there are 1300-1500 players online, it is bound to happen

I'm quite sure no one will risk huge amount of money just for chatting in a VIP room (if any). If there is a VIP chatroom, it is not something that should be used as a target to be achieved by gamblers but it is just something like a privilege bonus. Probably some people may risk more money to achieve it if there is special bonus on the chatroom, but I doubt people will do it just for "chatting" only. Just like other VIP bonus program where huge amount of wagered amount is required, it is also just like a bonus for those who are playing regularly.

You can even put different levels into it, like keep the main channel open and everyone can get into it but make the other parts more special, like take it from 1+ btc gamblers first but they can't join the bigger channel that is 10+ btc gamblers then 100+ btc gamblers.

Maybe that could be enough, but those three channels where whales talk will be a place that is basically a myth and people would wonder whats going on there, maybe 10+ or 100+ would be very hard to reach so people won't try to get there unless they were already on their way but people would find a way to do whatever they can to reach at least 1+ btc wagered, on average that would make you lose 0.01 btc anyway (could be more losses or you could win, just talking about house edge averages) so people may pay up that much in chance just to be there. AMAZING idea.

I think it would make super difference for the whales not people who want to be whales. For example if there was a chat where only few hundred people are allowed and only 10-20 people are online all the time, that place wouldn't be more "elite" in the sense that there will be less and less people talking there?

Look at regular chat, there are a ton of people chatting there and the chat is so fast that you have to follow very carefully to read all messages, what if there was a channel where you and people like you could talk with 10-20 people at max, the chat would have more quality.

Think about twitch for example, some twitch channels have open to everyone chats and usually those places are a mess and you can't read all messages but when they turn to subs only mode there is more quality and the streamer has more chance to replying to everyone. Similar idea.

We can't forget that Bitcoin price now is much different than what it was 3-4 years ago (or even 6 years ago when PD was released) so a 100 BTC VIP Channel could look bad as many wouldn't be able to hit it nowadays and mostly all of these whales who can easily hit it would not be chatting so that chat could be kinda a dead chat.. I believe a 10 BTC would be more than enough for the highest VIP rank for an exclusive channel (it is if they will ever agree with such a feature lol)
