primedice has a set withdrawal fee,so when blackchain is ok and mempool is fine
the average fees go down and primedice,as well as any other gambling site, can send with lower sat/byte
but on average, they do cover most of the fees,I have been checking my transactions and the fees are
50-80k satoshis on average,so PD covers like 10-40k!
this is the reason for the 400k withdrawal limit,to cut expenses on dust withdrawals

Many bitcoin services usually have fixed fees set. Many reasons for this.

One reason being is if you look at
https://jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/#30d

There are times when there is huge conjestion out of nowhere; this is hard to predict.

Hence most sites just use a higher fee just to make sure it confirms soon because too many people would create support tickets.

Yep, we have a few basic ideas with regards on how to lower fees. Rhavar has a lot of super smart ideas on how to manage fees.

Also, not sure if I mentioned this prior but there are new sounds on Primedice. There are still only sounds on Win/Loss but we got rid of the old really overwhelming sounds in exchange for more minimal ones.

yeah tip and deposit notifications were much better on pd3 to be honest
maybe you could work on primedice remembering last config better,
it always reverts my theme and language settings for some reason and defaults to
whenever I relog or restart browser, never happened before,do not know what to do to fix this, its annoying

It is good to see that prime dice is still going strong with their giveaways and i really missed those for a long time as i am not active in gambling anymore as i am busy with my life and traveling most of the time,i will be settling down and will be back in the site so that i can have the fun i used to have and i hope i can see my friends who used to roll when i was active.Looks like there are many changes in the site and there are more contests which is really great.

Most of the giveaways are on stake nowadays. THere are still a few giveaways on PD but last time a giveaway was posted on primedice forum, the giveaway was on stake instead. Sad

It is reasonable as they are building a new project(stake), so they are now focusing to give promos more on stake than on PD. I also miss the great giveaways on PD like what they gave last few years.
Anyway, is there any players who hit the new jackpot? The amount is quite interesting but the requirement is quite hard IMO. I think they should consider to change the rules of the jackpot. At least make it a bit easier with automatic jackpot.

Yeah, that is why they are focusing on new site. This is so natural since they open new site, but I hope primedice will still exist even though they open Stake, they must not forget about primedice that give them a good lead and need to keep up to date and give some event or may be giveaways on primedice

primedice will exist, there is no reason to get rid of the trademark name and the site that was/is the industrie's standard for ages
Stake occupies a slightly different niche and the dice there is higher house edge, 2%
as per Stunna "to not cannibalise Primedice" Smiley
I don't like stake's dice too much, maybe I'm used to primedices but there so many games there worth trying other than dice
baccarat, for example is pretty much unique, not so many sites have it,keno,HILO,mines etc.
everything a gambler would need

Most of the giveaways are on stake nowadays. THere are still a few giveaways on PD but last time a giveaway was posted on primedice forum, the giveaway was on stake instead. Sad

Yeah, that is why they are focusing on new site. This is so natural since they open new site, but I hope primedice will still exist even though they open Stake, they must not forget about primedice that give them a good lead and need to keep up to date and give some event or may be giveaways on primedice

I am pretty sure PrimeDICE is their bread and butter. They are probably making very little revenue with their new site. Maybe in a year or 2 when it catches on but most likely their revenues won't surpass that of Primedice.

Just like Satoshidice was always a popular choice for Bitcoiners back in the day and so will primedice.

the variables are endless ... is difficult to find a pattern

You mean to find out pattern to make a money from dice games?

That is impossible to do it because if that is possible then primedice would not be around by now for so many years. This game fully depends on your luck to make money so just play for fun and if you're lucky then you will make some money otherwise just enjoy your free time.

the variables are endless ... is difficult to find a pattern

The way it works is that a seed is hashed and a nonce is added to everybet. And the site takes the last (or first) hex bit and it equals your roll.

So basically you get a result thats a hex bit which is any number from 0 to 9 to F which is 16 different combinations.

People have tried to analyse this and ran a generated trying to find out if any number or letter appears more often, and the conclusion was that its completely random and each number or letter appears exactly equal to each other.

So to answer your question ... no there are no patterns unfortunately.

I was thinking the same, it looks like an impossible thing to be seen in the near future. To get the same exact number twice in a row has so low chance but I have just got it on other site. At first I cant believe it but it was real that I roll the same number in a row as shown in this screenshot http://prntscr.com/gqdlj9

with above experience, I'm starting to think that the jackpot on PD will be hit sooner as long as the players notice that they hit 77.77 in a row which is the hardest part because they should keep on watching the rolled number.
