I used to love rain a lot, specially in early years when there was random people raining over as well and there was so much chaos going on in that chat, it basically created its own legends and there was people who we all knew. Raining times were always the most talked times of the day, like it got up x10 more messages in a second all of a sudden and people would talk even if they didn't get any rain.
After certain years it lost its appeal to me, first of all it was never a big amount of money, since we already have free faucet I could just use that if I wanted free money and instead of waiting for a lucky low chance rain I could totally do faucet multiple times. Its still amazing but I just do not want to spend time on it.

Congratulations to @charitywater for receiving the most votes in this week's Choose a Charity! Thanks everyone who voted and helped make a difference!
$1,000 donation: ~
Charitywater has already helped around 10 million people to get clean water they lacked. Although there are many fake charity organisations and some others that spend donations on high salary for their staff, Charitywater is definitely not one of them. Private donors cover their operating costs so 100% of your donation is bringing clean water to people that need it. Good job, PD community! You've made the right choice!

early years it wasn't unheard of people raining 0.5 bitcoin in chat , the minimum tip was 50.000 satoshi strangely enough , people tend to love free money , this phenomenon is yet to be studied but waiting for rains is never a good thing to do , you should value your time more than that I guess it depends on if you deposit or not , but even if you do not have much money , imho , it is easier to deposit 1-2$ and try to make something from it than to depend on other people's pittance and rains

^^ Unfortunately not any longer for such large amounts in their rains. The first one from their rain, rain, rain promotion they only did a few hundred of doge coins for 25 users in the chat. You need to wager over $100 to even be able to speak in chat so I would imagine this also would apply in having a chance to get any rains there as well.

Thanks for having the kind heart to donate the $1000 to the water charity and I hope it goes a long way to providing clean water to those in need.
I am not really too fond on most charities which want you to donate $100 and $1 or so actually ends up going to the end party, kind of like that "World Vision" charity that some reporter did an investigation on. They adopted some kid, and paid for his clothes, food and education and then they decided to fly down and see the boy they adopted and all the boy got was some t-shirt and didn't understand any English.
Its smart how there are some charities that can provide something such as a way to purify water instead of just buying water and delivering the water to them. Its a very innovated way and smart way to help. Kind of like "Give a man a fish you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish you feed him for life". Most charities adopt the former and most should focus on the latter if they actually want to make a difference.

While reading your first paragraph I was exactly thinking about the fish thing, my granddad used to say it a lot.. and in fact these charities that offer the option for you to track your donations are the best.. I am an every month WWF donator for a 55$ at least and the thing I love most about their site is that I am always getting newsletter with infos of what my money have been used for, the things they have been focusing lately and the things they are still to put a better focus.. that kind of thing helps them not only to show us what have been done but everything we have left to do.. that's even a way to make us understand the way we have been damaging not only the wildlife or the water but the whole nature. If we don't start to take care of our planet who will? I would really love to see more options of nature charities being added to the voting poll (including WWF please <3) A bit off-topic but here is my last month adoption https://image.prntscr.com/image/YHmgrKiwS5m0v9Kr3iUdQg.png and this month adoption will mostly likely be a rhinoceros, this upcoming week

A dutch room would be nice to see as I have seen quite a bit of dutch speaking people frequent the english chat after talking to them in direct message on the other site and say they are on primedice as well. So they do deserve their own designated room in chat.

If we can use our own language in channel we can easily communicate and socialize to our fellow country men. If they can add more channel that's good! The more the merrier,

Actually not.. having a channel created for a specific language requires a minimum amount of players from the countries where that is the main language otherwise it may end up being just another channel that will stay kinda inactive and I really don't see how it can be worth for the site at all

It will further create more user engagement specially those users who can't speak and write english well.

Although it is empty there, they should increase it by ask for their own to come and join the channel together. It is hard at first but soon they will get it more and more people, this is how the channel work. And I believe it does not gives them any waste on working this out. If it is working out then they will get more players but if it is not, then it will just be there. So I can see this is just opportunities to make to increase the people from all around the world

What I liked was he didn’t brag about his earnings to others, instead he just got them gifts and shared his good fortune with all. In the end it’s a valuable lesson for all gamblers, learn to stop while you’re ahead and make good use of your winnings.
