I think something new is coming up. Right now this is being done with Embercoin. This coin does nothing. Execept making some money for youtubers. Cause... they dont get paid shit and thus justifie to themselves doing things like this, but its not right.

So... they spread fake news about "rebranding" and creating fake news around it. Then it shows u can stake this coin with 720% profit... But  what do you get for staking? Exactly more useless coins. Youtubers promote these so they can sell m for exactly that, profit.

What does Embercoin do? It does nothing. Except taking ur money. So if ur not in it, dont fall for this kinda new setup pump and dump. In my view. I was lucky to get out in time with a lill loss but its carnage at Livecoin, people sitting with millions of coins realising this isnt working and invested $1000's. Because: "u have to have more now to get rewards" Then they realise that its not working, and i can only imagine the panic as i had. But... i was a embercoin millionaire

There is a whole Embercoin thread... so it seems legit, but it isnt. People say its not working, then there are others who say u need to do this and that... Who are these right? Pushers..

Its not actually a surprising thing since this is just a normal thing here on crypto trading world. Pump and dump schemes are usual on those shit coins in the market and if you are careless then you will fall into the pit and would end up on losing all of your capital on severe cases. Embercoin? I have heard such coin but nothing goes into my interest and those youtubers out there that you mention they are just hyping up the coin and its a normal task for them because they do anything just to get buyers on the coin and when they accumulate enough then its dump time.

Since the cryptocurrency world is still unregulated and decentralized in many aspects, it is now attracting many scam artists to also have a chance to make some millions by introducing their own coins which they would later on dump leaving many buyers and investors holding their empty bags. This happened in some coins in the past where the developer team was gone and could not be found anymore. Hence, we have a term "shitcoins" because of this shameless strategy.

We have to remember that not all coins are created the same because there are those whose intention is just to get money from us...as they want to make some money out of thin air. We have to do our duel diligence when investing in a cryptocurrency...look at the road map, the team behind the project and the market reactions the project solicited especially in this forum.

Never even heard of it, so yeah what else could it be other

scams here, so put that thought right out of your head.  People
just need to put their greed aside and stop buying these worthless

i don't see anything new here that you call it new scheme! this is a technique that has been used for a long time in altcoins to promote and pump them and when they went up they start the dumping.

re-branding, fake news, releasing a new wallet, releasing a new still useless feature, non stop advertising all over the media not just youtube but reddit, bitcointalk,..., all these things exist in other altcoins too. you think ethereum didn't do this? have you forgotten all the mass personal messages they sent to everyone on /r/bitcoin all the fake news they pay the click-bait bitcoin news sites to publish? and all the rest!

If I may add, as much as we already know how fraudulent this practice are, we can't really stop them and the best thing for you to really do is to dedicate yourself to research this new coin so that no one will fall for this trap. This is nothing new but if people keep attracted to it, they will just rehearse it over and over again.

Well thank you for giving us as a heads up and good for you to be able to exit just in time. I guess for those who have been trapped the best thing to do is get out and accept the lost and do hope that will do their due diligence to study the coin before putting there money.

I don't know why some idiots chase these type of fake shitcoins hype which won't yield them anything in the long run they just lose their money to the whales who manipulate these coins.
This coin has already lost 45% in a day and I think it will still be dumped until it reaches 2Sats which is the true value of this coin.

You cant blame them and most of people do fall on these kind of traps are those newbies who do really hungry for easy profits which they do think out that if they would able to join the ride they can make tons of money without noticing that they are just being used out by those whales who are on the top just waiting for their victims and later on they decide to dump it hard.Its not a new scheme because I do encounter lots of projects or coins do have this kind of hyping things up.

Yeah well for me its trust. Because i myself could never do such a thing. People that fall for these are generally good hearted people that are new to the scene. They arent stupid, they just trust easily. And that combined with greed ofcourse. And thats the price they have to pay to get rid of that (greed)

You do have some point though since I have experienced it when I was still a newbie and I'm sure most traders would definitely commit the same mistakes when they are still a newbie.Its really been part of ourselves on being greedy specially when we are just engaging on new things and having too much trust would really be the thing that pushes us to make such thing which we would later on realized that we are wrong and eventually we would learn up on that mistake and moved on and wont fall on the trap on the 2nd time. Life is just like that, forget and moved on and charge it to experience.
