Recently I got a news that some colleges of a state in U.S. will start teaching a course of medical uses of Marijuana. It needs motivation and the government should promote the medical uses to youngsters so that they know its real purpose and have knowledge of it.
I think completely relying on big pharma is not good for us we should come back to nature and use the products it provides to us.

I totally agree, but most people won´t see it like this. So i am shure the private sector would be better and much bigger. Let´s say the pharma should see it as a not dangerous alternative, but not more. So they don´t see PARAGON as a competitor to normal pharma stuff.

I don't think they need to focus specifically on one sector. Paragon is just going to offer support for all Cannabis start-ups and running Cannabis companies. For medicinal use i do see that they might have to offer a lot of legal advice.

I never found out what celebrity advertises Paragon. Can someone answer?

The Game (not Triple H, the rapper Cheesy). For you talking about recreational use, as I understood Paragon, it's about medical use mostly (see 3.1 PARAGON SMART CONTRACTS in the whitepaper)

Eeeuuhhh and Jessica! Smiley
For me Jessica is also a celeb!

paragon will open 29 offices in state. what about paragon will physically open worldwode offices too or only in state?
I think Paragon will focus in those 29 U.S states firstly, and if that plan is successful, they will most likely push for international business.

That kind of video is really great for the visibility, for people who don't like to read white paper they can learn more about the project. And also the communication of paragon is very well handled, celebs is a plus in the marketing, and paragon is in a bankable industry. Really great for the future of the coin !

Just got finished watching the Paragon ICO review on YouTube, by Youtube channel "Bitcoin for Beginners". The way the video broke down the whitepaper into the basics, helped me understand this project better, I too have read white paper, but did not understand many things until I watched the review. They break it down easy for noobs like me!

I can talk about Germany. It's really hard here to get cannabis for medical use. Only a few a lucky enough to get a prescription.
Germany's Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM) confirmed on Sunday that the patient from Mannheim, southwestern Germany, will be allowed to grow a maximum of 130 cannabis plants a year in his bathroom. The cannabis is strictly for personal use, a spokesperson said.
BfArM had previously rejected requests to home-grow cannabis. There are currently more than 900 patients in Germany who are permitted to use the drug for medicinal purposes. However, the cannabis must be purchased from the pharmacy and financial costs covered by the patient. One gram currently costs around 15 euros ($16.85).
Prior to receiving his permit, the Mannheimer had filed multiple lawsuits, arguing that he could not afford the monthly costs of around 1,500 euros. In spring, Germany's Federal Administrative Court ruled that BfArM must "allow the claimant to grow cannabis, harvest the drug, and use it for the medical purpose of his treatment."

Well that's some good news here.

Seems like that the perception of cannabis is evolving.
Think what will be possible with Paragon successful launch. Their lawyers, activists and whole community will be able to change entire world!

Change entire world? Let's not get carried away, it's a cool project and all, i admit that, but change the entire world?.

You need to start somewhere!

I dont think PARAGON need a celebrity to advertise the project because  it offers a solid and viable holistic approach to the Cannabis industry, and that attracts more supporters and investors rapidly in crypto community.
Your right, this is what I've been saying, They have all their ducks in a row for this project at this point, the celebrity sponsorship only adds a bit of leverage, and trust. I think they will become successful regaurdless of  any famous endorsements.

Unfortunately there are those who think that the world was born the way it is today, that all the achievements of mankind have been handed over to them, nothing happens without a first step, and Paragon is sure to take the initial step towards a great Medicinal revolution, the great Farmas will fight for the last drop of the people's stale money over decades, but Cannabis will have its introduction into the world for sure. Those who see the world with the eyes of the righteous are wise.

This is yet another example of a business startup combining blockchain technology and legal cannabis without providing any worthwhile value for the members of the medical marijuana industry. What the hell does rented office space have to do with helping cannabis startups get off the ground in states where is/will be legal? This is an entirely fragmented idea without any form of legitimate plan for capitalization.

What the industry needs that you should consider:

1. Banking services - federal banks are not permitted to accept funds from dispensaries as it is still federally illegal. It would be simple to create a wallet client that allows users to pay employees, expenses, and send/receive invoices.

2. Funding - it is speculated that the cost for licensing in the state of Michigan will soon be as high as $100,000 USD. The same wallet client mentioned above may be utilized as a conduit to provide business owners with a P2P network (similar in nature to that of NEO or NXT) where smart contracts can be created that will facilitate the funding of up-and-coming cannabis ventures; effectively providing a secure lending platform through which interest may be earned on investments similar to the way in which interest would be earned from USD sitting in a bank account.

3. Secure medium of exchange - being that the industry is virtually all cash based due to the aforementioned banking restrictions, a hostile and sometimes dangerous environment is created as vendors are forced to hold as much as $100,000 or more [in cash] at a time. By providing the industry with a secure currency through which B2B and B2C transactions may be facilitated, the problem will be effectively mitigated in theory.

PS: I didn't mean to come off as sounding rude at the beginning of this post. This is simply something about which I am very passionate and it pains me to watch blockchain startups flounder as they attempt to create a solution. Trust me, if I had the resources at my disposal, I would not be typing this out to you right now. I would be executing the plan I just laid out.

Best of luck

A few weeks ago I was saying the same thing. I feel like I just read one of my earlier posts from the beginning of this project. I agree that what you are saying is exactly what I saw and still see when I read the beginning of the whitepaper and especially the OP here. I have had a chance to talk with the team one on one and they were more than happy to explain things to me more clearly. Try joining their Telegram channel. You will get a much more personalized response from them there. Maybe they will ease your doubts as they did mine. There is more to Paragon than meets the eye my friend.

I'm in the same boat, don't know which celebrity they brought to give credibility, but at the end, it doesn't matter, if you know and could tell me, that would be good to know, if not, they said above that the project doesn't need a celebrity advertising paragon, but is not bad having one either:D.
