Are you sure of what you have posted? A Hero Member posting a question on how to live on bitcoins is rather surprising to me. At the same time it seems you have confused Bitcoins with Altcoins. If you know mining costs a lot of money which you don't have, why don't you focus on something which can earn yo money and you can start your dream mining?

Well it seriously depends on how much money do you have right now, if you have some money to invest then you can make a few investments and you can have a good income from that, assuming that your account is a Hero Member then you can earn good btc with your Rank.
You can also have some profit from trading, maybe if you can invest some money then you can have a good income from it.

You are not going to live on Bitcoin by mining Ethereum. Look a little deeper and you will see Ethereum is actually a scam, but the US authorities <SEC> has not investigated it yet, so people continue trading and mining it. Once the SEC has defined it as a scam < security fraud > the house of cards will come down and lots of people are going to lose a lot of money.

You are only dreaming, if you building your future on Ethereum. ^sad^

if you plan on starting to mine ethereum you should know that the difficulty is increasing fast and also they have planted something in the code in the early days which is known as "difficulty bomb" which will increase the difficulty fast and big to make the switch to PoS mandatory. and that means the death of ethereum mining as we know it.
your earning will potentially stop at that date and you either have to sell the rigs or mine other things.

Yep, dream on. New hardware is very expensive least in Finland. I just say 115 dollars per/24h is jackpot example ETH mining. Almost what i have left on monthly daymoneys after bills has been payed
