Mine is still connected to the  server, and payout are there. Are you sure that your config is fine. Share are checked by the server and may be rejected if something is wrong.

Yeah my config is correct (you can see it in the image) and I'm getting accepted shares.

I'm sorry but this doesn't seem remotely like a fair launch to me. I was on different coins sometimes a whole day later than this one and had more coins in an hour than I do right now. I now have been throwing 1400 kH/s at this for 2 hours and a 1000 kH/s for an hour before that and have 58 coins to show for it, 5 of those being donated from some nice miner. Part of the fun of a new coin is finding blocks solo, I remember when I found 2 litecoin blocks in 2 days when everyone said it was not worth soloing a few months after it had launched and that was with a single 4890, lol. I know all my settings are correct as I mine all kinds of different coins and have different cgminer folders for each miner. Infact this is my settings except I turn the intensity up if I am not at the computer, my other 2 PCs are running at 18.
So you're saying a fair launch means get you a ton of coins?  Roll Eyes Fair launch means that tons of people get a small amount of coins. Which seems to be the case with this coin.

Dude, did you skip the wallet pic with over 5K in it?

5K is not a lot.  You missed the dude at the WDC launch screenshot showing over 19K within the first hour.  He had 20 GPUs running.  I would link to it but screenshot was taken down.  I know StevenLam has more hash power.   Grin

I didn't get any shares in that launch for the first hour with 4.5 Mhash.

-tb-

We can banter back and forth, until the cows come home. While WDC continues to rise, I win. Period

You are not alone...   Grin

In that case the payout will be available with the next mined block. After some time, it will appear in the wallet. P2pool takes some times, but you get money as soon as the mined coin is ready.

Is the p2p pool supposed to be stratum? I have stratum off, but when I'm mining I get this: "2013-05-20 10:36:18: Listener for "55": [2013-05-20 10:36:16] Switching pool 0 http://107.20.222.119:9500 to stratum+tcp://107.20.222.119:9500"

The pool has found about 4 blocks since I've been mining and I've got nothing.

EDIT: Mmmk, the address is now on there. It might have been the stratum thing.

However this is a PPLNS p2pool too, and to get a payout we have to stay a few rounds (http://pool-x.eu/aboutpplns). Once done everything is fine.

It's still incredibly disheartening that so many steps were taken to have a "fair launch", and then he launches it an hour earlier than he told everyone he would, without giving any advanced notice that there would be an earlier launch.

MickeyNick, honest error due to daylights savings time and changing location frequently.. I'd have nothing to gain actually, I benefit like everyone else when there are a lot of nodes since I only have 2.5-3mh/s capabilities with scrypt. But the software kind of fixed it itself(at least a lot of it) because it actually made all difficulties happen 1 adjustment quicker. So 0.98 difficulty came very early.

I had my clock at 9AM, misscalculated and moved to 12PM (UTC+1) i waked up and sow the launch... but i got NOTHING in first hour just 200 orpans, coins started to punch on only when block reached 8 coins +... so you miss nothing (blok had just 2 coins and most ppl received only orphans at the begining)

@Hydroponica

Would you stop the FUD???

Its not only you, but talking crap just you have some other coin at the start is just plain stupid!

Other ppl did the same at other treads, all over again, high ping, missed the coin start, ect, fubered configs, get ZERO coins and they start to talk crap, next same coin its all over again but now those same ppl are hyping as mad because they got 1K!

Ok this coin as any other new coin might fail or not its not you crap talk to decide!

Actually, I didn't start mining WDC at the beginning, I started mining it a couple days ago, because I saw it was going somewhere. The only difference between this and WDC, is block size, and this supposed fair start. People will mine this for a couple days, realize its not going anywhere, and move on. I'm making decent profit on WDC and its apparent to me that digicoin will not match or surpass it, so why bother?

He won't, that's only he is doing. Jumping from coin to coin that does not fit his current holding one and spreads crap all the time.

Block size - different
Reward per block - different
Confirmations - different
Launch - different
Halving period - different

Actually, please look through the code of both and tell me what is the same in configuration, will you?

And I am sure they had to tweak the client to work at these speeds just like we had to.

Development of this coin is just beginning, not ending, and more is to come.

New Pool: http://dgc.scryptmining.com/

Try us out.  PPLNS

Port number used to connect? I don't see anything on the site.
I was trying to find the info there also.  There are errors on their support section and the hashing is showing the LTC total, not the DGC total.

I ping better there than the other pools, but I'm going to wait a bit, let them sort things some more.
