"Just last week, ISPs in Belarus began blocking public Tor relays—but bridges and pluggable transports are so far working to defeat the blocks.

This is a protocol obfuscation layer for TCP protocols.
Its purpose is to keep a third party from telling what protocol is in use based on message contents.

obfs4 offers protection against passive Deep Packet Inspection machines
that expect the obfs4 protocol.  Such machines should not be able to verify
the existence of the obfs4 protocol without obtaining the server's Node ID
   and identity public key.

obfs4 offers protection against active attackers attempting to probe for

obfs4 offers protection against some non-content protocol fingerprints,

When windows version goes life, You should make an explanation of what it is and what it can be used for. In a language that everyone understands.

Something like, You are safe and protected by OBSF4 bridges that encrypt your connection!

The easier to found the better. Most people don't know about privacy tech. Better said, we don't know about the tech behind the tools we daily use.

This info is interesting for the people who already know what is obfs4 and want to know more.
But I don't understand anything.

It needs a simpler explanation. Without words like:
bridges, non-content protocol fingerprints, packet size, packet timing, underlying traffic, server's Node ID, Deep Packet Inspection machines, TCP protocols

This is the way to go. With a little more explanation but this is the way to go.

OBSF4 bridges encrypts your connection to surf the net without any risk of being tracked and confidentially.
If your country is telling you what you can or you can't do on the internet, then is a MUST.
Countries on the black list: China, Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan.

Hopefully we will be able to deliver that soon.

We are in need of more testnet wallets running.
You cant run a testnet and mainnet/regular wallet on the same computer unless you create a VM/Virtual Machine.
Please drop by the KORE public testnet thread in Discord.

Hi there, what's the best course of action to take now that Bittrex is delisting KORE?
Move our tokens to another exchange? Someone mentioned Altilly?
Or to the official wallet?
Do we have to do any updates or swaps before we move our tokens to the official wallet?

Hi Admins,
We're 7 hours away from Bittrex delisting, can you guys help with getting the mainnet wallet to sync?
I've downloaded the blocks_and_chainstate_572974.zip
and unzipped to paste into the kore folder.
But it still says 'No block source available' '9 weeks behind. Scanning block 572974'. No peers either.
It has been an hour and says the same thing. Is this expected?

It would be great if you guys can paste some instructions for users on what to do with Bittrex delisting KORE.
So far it has been a frustrating process with not much guidance from this forum nor telegram

"TO ALL:

PM me through this "Clutch_Jones account" if you cannot get and/or do not have a KORE wallet to send your Bittrex KORE to.
I will send you an address and will be under obligation to "hold and stake your KORE"
till you are able to send me an address to send them to from the same BitcoinTalk account you PM'd me from requesting my help.

I suggest you carefully guard your BitcoinTalk account and password till that time.
I'm currently on the road and am unable to provide more help than this at this time.

I'm in the same position here, need to transfer my Kore coins from Bittrex before october 14.

I downloaded the last version (0.13.2.5) and opened it.

On the bottom of the screen, it says that "no block sources are available".

Can I still transfer some coins on the wallet?

Thanks.

Best to make sure you have the chain loaded, up to date and your wallet backed up.
To speed up the process you can load the chainstate and blocks folders with this link
but may have to reindex the wallet first after the chain is fully loaded.

Worst case, PM MikeMike over at Discord if you are continuing to struggle with your wallet.

Thank you for your quick answer.

It's certainly simple but I don't know how to load the chainstate and blocks folders to my wallet.

Do you have any video tutorial on how to load the chainstate and blocks folders into the Kore wallet?

Besides, the date limit on Bittrex for withdraw is precisely today (finally not the 14th). Can I still withdraw my Kore coins and deal with chainstate and blocks later?
