Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Hi, how are you?

Yeah, that's what it sounds like. At least what I realized was that investors are gaining more confidence and opening up to new opportunities.

Hey guys how you doing?,

I wanted to share a couple articles with the community showing one more push from the powerful countries governments to break our privacy or force companies to put backdoors on apps and OS´s like if they did not have a few already and talk a little bit about our communications feature that is in the works that runs over TOR, does not have a cellphone number attached to the user account and uses top of the line proven technologies for the P2P communications and with blockchain integration.  Shocked

Article 1:https://www.techradar.com/news/five-eyes-nations-want-access-to-your-encrypted-communications-data

Article 2:https://www.nytimes.com/2018/09/04/us/politics/government-access-encrypted-data.html

Small explanation of what is the Five Eyes:https://www.vpnmentor.com/blog/understanding-five-eyes-concept/

Have a great week everyone.

Cheers

Go Kore, Go BTC

Complicated, again governments struggling to violate our privacy.
I believe that one of the great advantages of crypto-coins is to free ourselves from the power of government over our money.

People say there are no reasons for the alt coins/projects to exist. Be careful of these people...
The legit projects are innovators of these technologies and will be vehicles of change in many varied areas.
I do agree that the scam coins, scam ICOs and scam projects should not be around.
These scams are hurting people and wasting peoples time and efforts.
Many a decent people left crypto due to these scams and these scams have stopped many from getting involved in crypto.

MikeMike

I am sure Kore is not a scam project, actually it is a beautiful project, with honest and decent people working on it...
However how people could avoid being hurt by scam coins ?

The difference is these days the banksters and hedge funds are also among them and they too are ruthless.

I am sure Kore is not a scam project, actually it is a beautiful project, with honest and decent people working on it...
However how people could avoid being hurt by scam coins ?

The scam projects have went through a series of transformations.
However I have seen some decent projects come from some of them taken over by the Community.
There were some that were decent projects that were taken over or destroyed by infiltrating them,
attacking them through hacking, threats and even attacked in a physical manner.
Some of these attacks came from the scammers funding those scams.
With each new wave of scam coins they mostly used the same mold for them
till the next version/mold was developed to the point of the ICOs whereby
they doxed themselves and still stole peoples money.
All I can say is that the Crypto space may end up like the .com space
and over time the cream/decent projects will rise to the top and some the hard way.
This is because those who scammed people out of hundreds of millions and could be Billions by now
have the ability to pump the price of whatever coins they want and hold them there
till they cash out enough to make a killing while some of them may be also attacking these real projects because they
also want to be the owners of the businesses that come from the tech attached to real projects.
So the tech/businesses of projects coming down the road could be real but those attached to them are mafia-like and insidious.
Also these days the banksters and hedge funds are involved and they too are a ruthless bunch with agendas.

What is up?

Hey guys, have you seen this?

I was talking with colleagues about the bitcoin vulnerability that was found yesterday and was quickly corrected. If anyone here runs a full node up from 14.0 version should upgrade as soon as possible.

https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/blob/master/doc/release-notes/release-notes-0.16.3.md

I never seen a bug correction taken so quickly on bitcoin as this one.

Thanks

That is, you can directly download the wallet from there and it's safe?
Usually I download from github, but if it's 100% safe, I think you can download it. Very interesting project and on profit if you take similar looks in the top. Of course the market isтt very lucky, but if everything goes as it should, they can all do it.

The KORE Team is from the Internet.
There are 12 million maximum KORE.
Currently there are 2,098,891 KORE which you can always find the total amount here:
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/kore/
KORE is not an ICO and there are no lockup periods.

The feature could only be exploited by miners and they are not willing to lose 12.5 BTC as well as credibility. The bug was fix in contact with Miner Pools and quickly upgrade after announced. Glad to see everything went well.

Good info MikeMike, we are currently around 25% issued coins and it will inflate very slow due to the POS algo.

"Through this implementation, Sierra Leone is setting out to build one of the most advanced, secure credit bureaus. It could serve as a model for both developing and developed nations in the future and has the potential to radically change the landscape of financial inclusion."

"The project hopes to provide each of the citizens of Sierra Leone with personal identification tools and a personal digital wallet with their credit history."

This is very cool ! Nice move Sierra Leone!
