Is GPU Mining still profitable and will these crypto miners ever give graphics cards back to gamers? The short answer is absolutely not especially RX Vega's 56 64 frontier as they are the best gpu for mining cryptonight (Monero / XMR Electroneum / ETN)

It will definitely be interesting to watch network hash here in a bit.

To be clear the fork or network upgrade is happening on April 6th

I'd like to prepare for this. I have xmrig and a couple Ryzen cpu I'd like to use for it after the fork.

When it forks where do I go to get the wallet and what is the fork going to be called?

Hard to say, hopefully we will see more and more algo's that are increasingly harder to crack w/ ASICs

They can build another asic, but it is a lot easier to change the monero code than it is to build new asics and sell them.
