Bitcoin correction is coming?

I prefer bitcoin will rise instead has correction on this weekend, because segwit will be activated on August 21st which mean bitcoin will be on Bull run again. Bitcoin could reach $5000 in this month and there will be some minor correction during the way, but I consider major correction will happen if bitcoin reach $6000 or chain split will happen on November, depends on which one will come first.

I hope to not see any correction, the bitcoin value is cute as it is for now. Even if I see a lot of volatility during the day with over 200$ up and down. If the value can be "stable" at about $4500 it would be great

Yes bitcoin will not get too deep correction. It's all just temporary and the possibility to increase back is huge. An increase in the number of bitcoin users will help keep the bitcoin prices steady and also increasing. The recent increase in BCH price rates does affect bitcoin prices.

I think also that "nothing can stop Bitcoin" but I doubt that this means an eternal bull run. It is possible $4500 will be the top for some months. We had a short term head and shoulders pattern in the last two days (three highs with the one in the middle being the highest). That is often a trend reversal pattern.
The increases in the last days were very strong and I expect that there are many people selling now to take some profits. Maybe it will only be a short term bottom and the bulls start a try for $5000, but I'm almost sure it won't go higher than that, for now.

Biggest dip so far I saw since the price rise is more than $200 few days ago and it bounce back again. For sure after the correction at some time, the price will become higher or possible that we can reach the $5000 before the end of this year.

The correction will happen. But it's very difficult to time it and how big it will be. It depends how we will continue rising.
For example there are guys who believe we could go to 15k+ in 2-4 weeks. Imo this would be an insane move and would end with huge profit taking and therefore and incredible dump and probably longer correction because many people get heard and burned.Especially the newbies who joined this space just a few weeks or months ago may never come back and believe BTC is just a scam or something similar.

The correction will happen. But it's very difficult to time it and how big it will be. It depends how we will continue rising.

not everybody having btc on exchanges for quick dumps when it starts ... and market matured over time pretty significantly so there is much more less weak hands than before, because everybody is aware "it will go up again"

Worst option is to have stop loss orders as price can bounce back up very quickly and those people will be burned.

There wouldn't be any major correction. Some small term ups and downs would be there that are way too common in Bitcoin market. Price will hover over $4000-$4500 for sometimes before touching $5000. But there is very little chance that Bitcoin would fall by $1000 now.

yes the correction can be of 300 to 400 USD and not more than that. i think still the demand of bitcoin is increasing and therefore there is no chance that the price of bitcoin will come below 4000$, people are even expecting the price of bitcoin that it will easily cross 5000$ in next few weeks and therefore people are still confident to hold bitcoin, and get more and more profit.

i do not think that people are caring about correction. they are too much confident about bitcoin and therefore they are still interested to buy bitcoin. i think that the bitcoin price will very soon start increasing again and therefore, i think it will be good if we hold bitcoin for next few months, as it is expected that the bitcoin price is going to cross 7000$ at the end of this year.

It's still rising bit by bit, so IMO the correction would come later still. The question now is at what level would it correct to.

I think it will test $4000 first and maybe $3800, before trying again to get past $4500.
