Feathercoin is designed in order to be a real currency, you need signifficant coin numbers for that.

That or else you are in decimal-world

Average Joe does not like decimal-world.

FTC can go strong until 10$, in due time, but it will never become impractical like say BTC

you cant be a real currency
or the local government will destroy it

As with everything else for that matter xD

Trade at C-Cex, my favorite exchange!          Aysyr Reputation Thread

totally agree with this in principal - my issue was with the block reward at the start, but fair enough , I would rather support FTC than BTC any day anyhow ,and When i get our other riggs online i will supoort FTC.

we aim to have about 12Mh# - very cheap energy .

perhaps we can support each other ?

Also depends on the Government, not ALL governments are totally hostile, some are smarter. the smarter ones will find a way to profit from it rather than attack it.

Bounty for miners related to reaching block 33,000. The lucky ones will win 1 BTC or - at block 33,000 - 5 BTC worth of FTC. It seems to have increased mining power and apparently also increased interest in holding FTC itself.

As move past the hard fork, there's a LOT of work to be done.  Thankfully, we have 11 different leads that have stepped up to run their respective teams to have Feathercoin move forward.

Sheepson - Tutorial/Starter-kit Lead
WesPhily - Merchant Services Lead
Kevlar - Miner Relations Lead
Spynappels - Exchange Information Coordinator
DeadZebra - Bounties Coordinator
Marcus1337 - Public Relations Lead
Nikel - Gamer Relations Leads
Zerodrama - Features Development Coordinator
MrSheep - Pool Operator Lead
iawgoM - Art Lead
Agozyen - Research Lead

Each team will consist of 3 or 4 people contributing to the overall success as well as forum members working on their own projects. Not too bad for a "dead" coin. Smiley

Look, I hold quite a few different coins. I wish all communities the best.. I really do.  Before judging the work we're doing with FTC, maybe you'll take a few minutes to visit our community.

It's true. An active community does absolute wonders for the support. We're now past the hard fork, and transaction speeds are greatly improved, people are signing up for roles left and right, and putting their time and energy into pushing adoption. We're seeing sites start to include FTC all over the place.
