Though I don't believe it will reach that high at the end of 2017, it would be more and more possible if big names would continue to make such bullish predictions. If alot of big names would have bullish predictions, what would the people do? They would go all out FOMO on bitcoin, buying out alot of the coins thinking they'll be rich in a few months, causing the prices to rise alot.

I think it's impossible for anyone to give an accurate prediction.  But having said that, around $5k by the end of this year is likely. And in 2018, $10-15k.  However, maybe the emergence of more suitable methods of payment (Eth, OMG, TenX, even Ripple) will have a knockback effect on this.

It's possible for a person to have an accurate prediction. The only problem is, there's so many decent names out there that's been giving out various predictions(rises to $15,000, crashes t0 $1,500, etc), that we wouldn't know who to believe in.   And yes I believe too that $5000-$6500 mark would be alot more less farfetched of a prediction.

He has no basis, a real basis, to come up with that idea or a speculation I mean? Or you forgot to include it in your post? It will not make sense by just saying that the price will this and that but no evidences that can support it is nothing but a speculation. I think OP should add the reference link.

no, i disagree. and in fact i hope that doesn't happen!
we are talking about a huge rise in a very short period of time. that is a 1400% rise this year with 275% rise only in 4 months and that is more than what a normal big rise in bitcoin can be in my opinion. this kind of rise will lead to a big bubble and then a long bear market which is going to suck.

we will however continue seeing a bull run this year and price will continue rising until the end of the year with one hiccup around the S2X thing.

There is no doubt that bitcoin continue to rise in price but not that way, I do not think Bitcoin will rise to 15K in less than a year

the prediction too over pricey as you can the price of bitcoin currently still played on ,$4k. that will impossible to reach $15k this year. if you say for three or four year later it might be really happen.

yes its possible but i think he missed something which is correction price, we don't know how much correction price when the price get down and we must remember that if the price is down, there is many chance to down too deep. although i believe that bitcoin can reach the price in his prediction but still we need to thinking about correction price which always come after increase price.

Me myself and I is really hoping for this prediction and I guess everyone want is, but the things is we don't know, and it will remain a prediction until the time comes, but  for this year I guess on my opinion bitcoin value can be more likely on $6000 or more, its a safe zone.. but I believe in bitcoin and will remain investing it.!

I have never heard his name before and I am glad I haven't, have you even seen the figures quoted by him, ask yourself logically how in the world will it happen. I don't really get it where they get all this astronomical figures from, it makes absolutely no sense for such high figures. I believe that 5500$ is where it can max reach and then stabilize at 5k year on. In two years 7-8k is max I see it and on the downfall 2-3k won't go below than that. I hope this legendary person of yours has calculated the forks coming Bitcoin way.

I strongly agree about the prediction, seeing the current price of Bitcoin has reached $ 4,000 and possibly by 2019 Bitcoin can break the $ 110,000 figure. We look forward to the year 2019 there will be many millionaires in various countries.

I don't think that the price will reach to that point very fast and in just a few years because even though bitcoin is now popular in the most countries, it is not still enough for bitcoin to reach to that price because it needs a lot more demand from the people to start going up more than 10,000 USD price and now the demands are not enough even just to reach at least 7,000 USD.

In my opinion,15 k dollars cannot be reached  by the end of this year. It is quite unlikely, I also prefer a more slow but steady rise and not a pump, in order to take more time to see what will happen and to do the right moves.

By this day if 15000$ or even just 10000$ is possible, the price must be around 5-6000$ at the end of august, so I don't agree for I only based my prediction to reality and movements of bitcoin on market and exchanges graph. Let him believe on that and will see if it stands on next few months as the the end of the year is near.

Well, if not exactly close to that value, I can think of it going very close to it. The "bubble" as you pointed out as not a bubble after all, and its on the rise once again.
I don't see it going down from here at least in this year or next.

I am also a trader (with 5-6 years experience), and in my opinion bitcoin will not go higher than 9000-10000 in this bubble. Many say that bitcoin will not go higher than 6000 in this bubble, what I do say is that at the end of the year the bitcoin will be somewhere around 8000. The 100 000 Price is attainable but not next year 2018, sometime between 2020 and 2022. Believe me I do have some trading experience also and I know to read the indicators.

If you think that price prediction is hilarious then just think of what happen in litecoin when the segwit is activated, it shoots up very high because of the upgrade or development that has been done in litecoin and i think that it is also possible in bitcoin because bitcoin got more audience or people in the community so those prices can reach if we want to and if we unit together to just buy bitcoin.

Its impossible to predict but if we are throwing out numbers I could see it getting into the millions. If you figure that there arent enough bitcoin for each millionaire to own one and that bitcoin has the possibility of replacing the current global economic system, I think $15,000 is nothing. Looking back at these discussions people would say they think bitcoin could get to $1000 or $4000 and others would disagree and not long ago $4500 seemed impossible to many.
